Hi everyone!
A nice and cozy 10 sqm room will be available in our 4-person shared flat and we are therefore now looking for a new roommate.
The room will be available April 1st:
It faces east (sun in the morning) and is a comfortable 10 square meters. It has a beautiful view of the neighbouring garden. You’ll have the option of taking over some of the furniture. :)
Rent for the room is 358.54€ per month (including WiFi, etc.).
The apartment:
The apartment is on the 1st floor of a beautiful old building with wooden floors. The apartment consists of 4 rooms, a large and fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher) with a comfortable sofa, a large hallway, a large bathroom with two sinks, a shower and a bathtub, and a separate toilet. There is a laundry room in the basement with a washing machine and we have a corner of the garden. We also like to sit together on our shared balcony in the evenings, which even has a view of the Österberg. The other residents of the house are also very nice: there is another shared flat above us and a young family with a cat below us.

In unserer 4er-WG wird ein schönes gemütliches Zimmer frei und wir suchen daher eine neue Mitbewohnerin!
Das Zimmer (ab 1. April frei) liegt in Richtung Osten (morgens Sonne) und ist gemütliche 10 Quadratmeter groß. Das Zimmer hat einen schönen Ausblick auf den Nachbargarten. Es wird die Möglichkeit geben einige Möbel zu übernehmen. :)
Die Warmmiete beträgt pro Monat 358,54 € (inklusive WLAN, etc.).
Wohnung:
Die Wohnung liegt im 1. Stock eines schönen Altbau-Hauses mit Parkettboden. Die Wohnung besteht aus 4 Zimmern, einer großen und vollausgestatteten Küche (inklusive Spülmaschine) mit gemütlichem Sofa, einem großen Gang, einem großen Badezimmer mit zwei Waschbecken, einer Dusche und einer Badewanne und einem separatem WC. Im Keller gibt es eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschine und ein Teil des Gartens gehört uns. Auf unserem gemeinschaftlichen Balkon kann man abends schön zusammensitzen, sogar mit Österberg-Blick. Auch die übrigen Hausbewohner*innen sind sehr nett: über uns im Haus ist eine weitere WG und unter uns wohnt eine junge Familie mit Katze.

Our flat is located in the beautiful Lustnau district, in a quiet residential area with large gardens, near the sports institute and near a primary school and an old people's home - in the middle of life;)
Our flat is very close to the central university buildings. It is a 10-minute walk to the Neue Aula, the Kupferbau, and the Brechtbau and the sports institute The bus connection is also great - there are 2 bus stops very close to the house (1-2 minutes). There is also a bakery, a bank and a supermarket around the corner (Rewe about 5 minutes away on foot). It's about 10 minutes by bike to the city center - and the Österberg is just around the corner for nice walks with a beautiful view.

Lage:
Die WG liegt im schönen Stadtteil Lustnau, in einer ruhigen Wohngegend mit großen Gärten, nahe des Sportinstituts und in der Nähe einer Grundschule und eines Altenheims – also Mitten im Leben ;)
Unsere WG liegt sehr nah an den zentralen Unigebäuden. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 10 Minuten zur Neuen Aula, dem Kupferbau, dem Brechtbau, der Uni-Bibliothek oder dem Sportinstitut. Auch die Busanbindung ist super - in unmittelbarer Hausnähe (1-2 min.) gibt es 2 Bushaltestellen. Außerdem gibt es um die Ecke eine Bäckerei, eine Bank und einen Supermarkt (Rewe zu Fuß ca. 5 Minuten entfernt). In die Altstadt sind es mit dem Fahrrad etwa 10 Minuten – und auch der Österberg ist gleich um die Ecke für Spaziergänge im Grünen mit schöner Aussicht.
Flat life:
Our flat currently consists of the three of us: Núria, Taylor, and Nastaran. We are all in advanced semesters/graduated. Núria teaches Catalan and is doing a PhD in Linguistics. She enjoys slow mornings, reading and eating. She also likes to swim and she just started her running journey. Taylor is starting her last semester for a master in Public Policy and Social Change. She likes to go to concerts, reading, and going out with friends. Nastaran just finished her studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She enjoys taking walks, doing yoga and cooking. We like to hang out in the kitchen (where our comfortable sofa is). But we also appreciate some down time. :) We speak English among ourselves but all speak German as well. For the vacant room, we are looking for a roommate who is interested in a social environment and who is planning on staying for at least a year.

WG-Leben:
Unsere WG besteht aktuell aus uns dreien: Núria, Taylor und Nastaran. Wir sind alle in höheren Semestern/fertig mit dem Studium. Núria unterrichtet Katalanisch und promoviert in Linguistik. Sie genießt entspannte Morgen, liest und isst gerne. Sie schwimmt auch gerne und hat gerade mit dem Laufen angefangen. Taylor beginnt ihr letztes Semester für einen Master in Public Policy und Social Change. Sie geht gerne auf Konzerte, liest gerne und geht gerne mit Freunden weg. Nastaran hat gerade ihr Studium Pharmaceutical Sciences abgeschlossen. Sie geht gerne spazieren, macht Yoga und kocht gerne.Wir sitzen gerne mal in der Küche zusammen (wo auch unser gemütliches Sofa steht). Wir sprechen untereinander sowohl Englisch als auch Deutsch. Alle brauchen auch mal ihre Ruhe und dafür ist natürlich auch Raum. Für das zu vermietende Zimmer suchen wir eine Mitbewohnerin, die Lust auf ein geselliges WG-Leben hat und die am besten plant für mindestens 1 Jahr zu bleiben.
