We are open to non-German-speaking roommates. (ENGLISH VERSION BELOW)
Da ich für ein Jahr Weimar verlasse, um im Ausland zu studieren, lasse ich einen Teil meiner Sachen da. Das Zimmer ist möbliert wie auf dem Bildern zu sehen ist, natürlich kannst du es dann aber so gestalten und dekorieren wie du möchtest!
Das Zimmer hat eine wirklich gute Größe und ist praktisch geschnitten. Die zwei Fenster in Richtung Süden geben dem Zimmer viel Licht, überraschenderweise heizt es im Sommer aber nicht sehr auf. Aus dem Zimmer kann man auf den Goetheplatz blicken. Bei offenem Fenster hört man auch die üblichen Innenstadt-Geräusche (auch manchmal die Pferde-Kutschen lol), da sich die Wohnung im 3. OG befindet, ist es aber nicht allzu laut.
ENGLISH:
Since I am leaving Weimar for a year to study abroad, I am leaving some of my things here. The room is furnished as shown in the pictures, but of course, you can arrange and decorate it however you like! The room is a really good size and has a practical layout. The two south-facing windows give the room plenty of light, but surprisingly, it doesn't get very hot in the summer. You can see Goetheplatz from the room. With the window open, you can hear the usual downtown noises (sometimes even the horse carriages lol), but since the apartment is on the 3rd floor, it is not too loud.
Die Wohnung befindet sich etwas seitlich am Goetheplatz in Weimar, also am Rand der Altstadt. Der Theaterplatz/Rewe ist etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, in knapp 15 Minuten ist man am Campus der Bauhaus-Universität (wenn man spät dran ist auch mal in 10) Praktisch ist auch, dass der Bahnhof nicht allzu weit entfernt ist (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß), darüber war ich schon einige Male dankbar, als spät abends kein Bus mehr vom Bahnhof in die Innenstadt fuhr.
ENGLISH:
The apartment is located slightly off Goetheplatz in Weimar, on the edge of the old town. Theaterplatz/Rewe is about a 5-minute walk away, and you can reach the Bauhaus University campus in just under 15 minutes (or in 10 if you're in a hurry). It's also convenient that the train station is not too far away (about a 15-minute walk). I have been grateful for this several times when no bus was running from the station to the city center late at night.
Im Moment ist viel Wechsel in der WG, da drei von uns ausziehen (Studium abgeschlossen, Auslandsemester..). Deshalb kann man natürlich nicht sagen, wie sich das WG-Leben weiterhin entwickelt. Das bedeutet aber auch, dass du umso mehr mitgestalten kannst und auch mit entscheiden, wer noch in die WG ziehen könnte. (-> siehe weitere WG-Anzeigen auf dem Profil)
Bisher war unser WG-Leben sehr persönlich und definitiv keine Zweck-WG. Wir lieben es zusammen zu kochen, spontan in der Küche zu quatschen oder auch mal zusammen auf Veranstaltungen zu gehen. Auch wenn eigentlich alle von uns hin und wieder Action und Party mögen, ist es in der Wohnung eigentlich immer ruhig und ein Safe Space im hektischen Alltag.
Du würdest mit Marlene und zwei weiteren neuen Mitbewohner:innen zusammenleben. Marlene lebt gerade noch in Südkorea für ihr Auslandsjahr und kommt im Sommer zuück nach Weimar, wo sie an der Bauhaus-Uni Visuelle Kommunikation studiert.
ENGLISH:
At the moment, there's a lot of turnover in the shared flat as three of us are moving out (graduating, going abroad for a semester, etc.). Therefore, it's hard to say how the WG (shared flat) life will develop. However, this also means you can contribute significantly to shaping it and have a say in who else moves in (see additional WG listings on the profile).
So far, our WG life has been very personal and definitely not just a place to sleep. We love cooking together, having spontaneous chats in the kitchen, or going to events together. Even though we all enjoy some action and parties from time to time, the apartment is usually quiet and a safe space in the hectic daily life.
You would be living with Marlene and two other new roommates. Marlene is currently in South Korea for her year abroad and will return to Weimar in the summer, where she studies Visual Communication at the Bauhaus University.
