After almost 5 years I'm leaving our lovely WG and my beloved room since it's time for me to getting my own place. Thus, we're looking for a person who fits our open-minded and relaxed attitude for moving permanently into the room.
The room itself is about 28 m² with very high ceilings. Because of the 2 large windows and a wide street, it's a very bright room. The morning sun will give you plenty of light even in winter (but no worries, there are blinds). It mainly comes unfurnished, only a few things like the shelves, a wardrobe, a dresser and the blinds would stay, but that's open to discussion.
The flat itself has been a WG for a long time, and you might be able to tell that it has been lived in our place, but due to this reason it's fully equipped and come with everything you need and maybe even a little extra.
The location of the flat is really great and very convenient.
It's in the 5th district, right on the border to the 6th – basically in between the U4 metro stops Margaretengürtel & Pilgramgasse (3-7 min). If you need to go to U6, you can reach the station, Gumpendorfer Straße in about 10 min on foot. Other tram lines (e.g. 6, 18) and bus stops (e.g. 12A, 13A, 14A, 57A, N60 etc.) are also nearby (Wiener Linien are great).
There is a supermarket right across the street. Other shops such as a bakery, the post office and a tobacco shop are within a 2 min radius. If you need more than that, you can always go to Mariahilferstraße (10 min) and get everything else you need there.
In summer, you can hang out in the small park at Margaretengürtel or the Pilgram-Terraces. Plenty of great bars and restaurants are around the corner as well.
The WG life is pretty relaxed. There's always the opportunity to hang out together, having drinks, watching TV or playing games (online & offline) – in summer, our favorite spot is in the evening sun on our so-called balcony (the balcony doesn't actually belong to the flat but can be used). In general, we very sociable and like to have people over. However, we're no longer the typical student-WG that we used to be and since we're all working full time by now, the work rhythm dominates during the week. Ideally, we're looking for someone who shares that rhythm.
Harri is 28 and has been living in the flat for 7 years. He's working as an internal auditor in a department of the city of Vienna. Besides being a devoted civil servant (kidding) he likes to spend his time with the usual things, like drinking beer, playing spike ball or basketball, watching sports or playing games. He's really chilled and laid back.
Zuzana, 28 as well, is from Slovakia and moved not too recently to Vienna. She says her German skills suck, but that's actually not true. She works as a scientist in biomedical research. Other than that she reads a lot of sci-fi, plays volleyball & squash, hikes and up for any activity anytime – most of the time very busy. She tries to make coffee in the morning for everyone cause she's often the first one up, and she's very chatty – after that morning coffee.
Thijs (25) is from the Netherlands and lives in Vienna since last year April. He works in a Hotel and still studies International Hospitality Management. In his time off, he loves to enjoy Vienna on its best and is always open for a night out in one of the many great clubs Vienna has. For him, the biggest clichés about Dutch people are true: you can always find him on his bicycle and the amount of cheese he eats is insane. At home, he loves cooking and always has some great wines to drink.
All of us are pretty different in character, what we have in common is being easy-going and open-minded.
Thus, it's always completely fine for everyone to take their own space of course.
If all these things sound good to you, we'd love to hear a few things about you in order to get a first impression. We will be happy to get back to you if it could be a good fit!
Cheers,
Veronika

The room might potentially be available even a bit earlier than end of November. However, the details still need to be discussed.
