Schönes Zimmer in der Ruhr-WG

Unser Haus ist mitten in der Wittener Innenstadt. Es ist sehr gemütlich (eine Mischung aus Altbau und auch ein bisschen Landhaus fast, von innen), geht über drei Etagen und hat eine sehr große Wohnküche samt Sofa und Speisekammer. In der Nähe befindet sich das Wiesenviertel und der Stadtpark, sowohl wie mehrere Supermärkte, und auch zur Ruhr ist es nicht weit. Quasi direkt vor der Haustür ist eine Busstation, an der nahezu alle Buslinien Wittens halten. Zum Wittener Hauptbahnhof sind es ca. 10 minutes zu Fuß.

Our house is located at the centre of Witten. It is very cosy (a mixture of old building and also a bit of country house almost, from the inside), goes over three floors and has a large eat-in kitchen complete with sofa and pantry. The Wiesenviertel and the Stadtpark are nearby, as are several grocery stores, and it's not far from the Ruhr. There is a bus station right outside the front door, where almost all of Witten's bus lines stop, and to reach the trainstation in Witten takes less than 10 minutes by foot.

Das WG Leben in der Ruhr WG ist meistens rücksichtsvoll, harmonisch und gesellig und machmal ein bisschen frech. Wir sind zwar eher gemeinschaftlich und auch recht familiär, aber Ruhe und Rückzug schaffen wir auf jeden Fall auch zu finden. Wir kochen öfter zusammen oder es wird von einzelnen für alle gekocht. Einen Großteil der Lebensmittel teilen wir uns, darunter unter anderem Sachen wie Pasta, Reis, Mehl etc., und eine wöchentliche Gemüsekiste. Das Geld dafür ist schon in den Nebenkosten integriert.
Wir Spielen gerne mal abends was zusammen, oder es finden sich die einen oder anderen von uns zusammen um klettern/bouldern, zum Endstationkino oder Milchmichel, zu Demos und zu andere politische oder kulturelle Veranstaltungen zu gehen. Ansonsten sind wir eine recht undogmatische WG, quatschen uns manchmal über Verschiedenstes den Mund fusselig oder lernen/arbeiten hochkonzentriert in der echt wunderbaren Wohnküche.

Aktuell wohnen hier:
Ali begeistert sich für Tennis und Schach, kocht sehr gern und hat einen kecken Humor.
Paul leitet den Mittwochszirkus in Langendreer mit an, spielt viel Fußball und ist into Philosophie und Soziologiekrams.
Erbse spielt Akkordion und ist leicht zu begeistern für alles mögliche, geht gerne in die Sauna und interessiert sich auch für Soziologie-/Politkrams und für das gute Leben für alle und ganz besonders für TrashTV (NinjaWarrior, Princess Charming).
Zhenya hat einen außerordentlich grünen Daumen und hat unseren Terassengarten wiederbelebt und erweitert. Sie macht tollen selbstgemachten Kombucha, und mach gerne Yoga.
Rosa mach gerne allerlei Sachen neben der Arbeit, ist Stammkundin der DB und für eine Runde Scharade immer zu haben.
Johanna versucht mehr oder weniger erfolgreich im Alltag für Sachen wie Fußball, Klettern und Brettspiele Zeit zu schaffen.

Momentan sind wird drei Leute, die studieren, während die anderen drei berufstätig sind.

The WG life is very considerate, harmonious and sociable. We are rather communal and also quite familiar, but it is definitely also possible to find peace and quiet and retreat.
We often cook together, or one person cooks for everyone. We share a large part of the food, the money for which is already included in the rent. This includes basic foodstuffs such as bread, pasta, etc. as well as a weekly vegetable box.
We sometimes play games together in the kitchen, or some of us get together to go climbing/bouldering, to the Endstation-kino or Milchmichel, to demos and to other political or cultural events. Apart from that, we are a pretty undogmatic flat-sharing community, sometimes we talk our heads off about various things or study/work in a highly concentrated way in our lovely livingroom.

Currently living here are:
Ali , who loves playing tennis and chess, and enjoys cooking. Ali also has as a cheeky sense of humor.
Paul, who helps run the Wednesday circus in Langendreer, plays a lot of soccer and is also into philosophy and sociology stuff.
Erbse plays the accordion and is easily enthusiastic about a lot of things, likes going to the sauna and is also interested in sociology/political stuff and the good life for all and especially for TrashTV.
Zhenya, who has exceptionally green fingers and has revitalized and expanded our terrace garden together with Stella. She makes great homemade iced tea, is a master of food sharing and enjoys doing gymnastics:)
Rosa, who enjoys doing all kind of things next to work. Rosa is also a regular customer at the DB, and is always up for a game of charades.
Johanna, who more or less successfully attempts to make time for stuff like soccer, climbing and boardgames in daily life.

Three of us are currently studying, whilst the other three work.

Wir wünschen uns im kleinen und großen Rahmen einen rücksichtsvollen und solidarischen Umgang miteinander. Dabei ist uns eine kritische Haltung gegenüber jeglichen Unterdrückungsformen (Patriarchat, Antisemitismus, Rassismus, Queerfeindlichkeit usw.) wichtig.
