I am renting a large & beautiful altbau apartment in the center of Friedrichshain from 15.03 to 15.04. Dates are flexible. This apartment is really spacious with high ceilings and large windows. Couples & pets are welcome!
Location:
Its located in Mainzer Str. 24 verry close to U-bahn Samariterstr and a short walk to the famous bar / cafe street - Simon-dach str. and the popular hangout place Boxhagner platz.
Apartment facilities:
In the apartment, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, an induction cooker and a dishwasher. There are 2 balconies. One connected to the main bedroom and the second connected to the kitchen. There is a big bathroom with a bathtub + a separate shower and a smaller bathroom used as a second or guest toilet.
Rooms:
- The 32m2 large bedroom is furnished with a large king size double bed (with drawers beneath and a shelf behind), a large wardrobe and a small storage area. This room has a private balcony.
- The living room 36m2 is the biggest room with a alot of space & light.
- There is also a 3rd smaller room 18m2 that can be used for work or as kid's room.
- All the rooms can be used as separate bedrooms if you wanna do a flatshare.
Rent:
The rent (2350 Euros) is all inclusive including the furniture and other costs like electricity & fiber-optic high-speed WiFi so that you do not have to pay anything extra.

The location is one of the best things about this place. It's right in the center of Friedrichshain surrounding the popular Boxhagner platz & Simon-dach str. So many cozy cafes, bars and restaurants around the area.
Getting around:
Less than 2 minutes walk to the U Samariterstr u-bahn station that connects you to U5. 8 mins ride to Alexanderplatz and 16 mins ride to Hauptbahnof. Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg are easy to reach from here.
Supermarkets:
There are 3 supermarkets across the street (Edeka, Netto, Lidl and also a DM). East side mall & Ring center shopping malls are close by.
Vibe:
The whole apartment carries a timeless vintage vibe with a lovely wooden floor & doors, a classic chandeliers and beautiful historic detailing with stuccos. The building is more than 100 years old. It takes you back in time. Its a residential building that is calm & quiet. There is a small backyard garden area and a bike shed available.
Storage:
There is a small storage inside the apartment (within the bedroom) and also a cellar downstairs.
