Hi everyone,
We are Eva (30) and Ewan (32), and we're looking for a person or couple to sublet our 1-bedroom apartment and look after our cat between March 29 and April 28. The dates can be flexible by a couple of days.
Our apartment is ca. 65m2, plus a terrace, and is on the ground floor and first floor (Maisonette Wohnung) facing a green and quiet courtyard. The flat has a well-equipped kitchen for you to use, both a shower and a bathtub, and we can discuss clearing out some of our personal belongings to make space for you.
Our cat Leo is pretty easy to look after but loves attention, so it is important that you like cats and are not away from the apartment all day every day. We will be charging €1100 for the month, everything included. Our rent is usually €1400 including bills, but we have discounted €300 due to the extra time and effort caring for the cat.
It is a plus if you are already based in Berlin and able to have a quick meeting beforehand to get to know each other, but we are also happy to meet in a video call. If you are interested we'd be happy to hear from you.
It is a 5-minute walk to Boxhagenerplatz, so there are plenty of bars, cafes and shops in the area. Samariterstr., Frankfurter Allee and Ostkreuz stations are all within a 5-15 minute walk.
We will also ask for a €200 deposit which will obviously be released as soon as we return. This will be set up in a basic contract to protect both parties. A registration (Anmeldung) for the month is not possible, unfortunately.
