As I will be traveling, I am renting out my beloved home, located in Mitte, right beside the Friedrichstrasse station with view on the river Spree.
The sunny 2-room fully-furnished top-floor apartment may be the perfect home for your next business trip or slow-travel to Berlin.
The flat features one large living room, one bedroom, one bathroom, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. You'll love the natural light that floods in through the large windows, and the cozy ambiance created by my lovely greenery.
Living Room:
- Dining table of 140cm (extendable to 260cm) can host maximum 10 people (however, I only have 9 chairs and 8 sets of dishes).
- The sofa is extendable, to a 160x200cm flat bed (incl topping mattress, 2-pax-duvè and sheet).
- Projector with wireless connection, replacing a TV. It's usable at night or when curtains are closed.
- Work-place no 1, features a 120cm table and an external screen.
- The 3 large windows face exactly South. The 2 large windows face West.
- Extra-large balcony with a 5m south-front and a 4m west-front for full panorama from sun-rise to sun-set. You can see the tourist boats on the Spree from here as well as the trains.
- programmable floor-cleaning robot
- Lots of nice greenery, that we hope you can water once a week.
Bed Room:
- Bed with 160x200cm mattress, two pillows, 2-pax-duvè, and my cute lovely plush goat.
- Work-place no 2 with three large screens and a wireless keyboard (German) at your disposal. Table is 160cm wide and is height adjustable electrically.
Kitchen:
- Kitchen equipped with pretty much everything you need: each 8 sets of plates, cutlery, glass, cups, wine-glass, chopsticks aso.
- 3 fry-pans, 5 pots, water cooker, blender, vacuumizer, and microwave.
- Washing machine (incl dryer function), large dishwasher, oven, and 4-ceran-field stove.
- A raclette set with a fondue function, that you can use.
- However, I have no coffee machine, as I only make turkish coffee.
Bathroom:
- Shower
- Bathtub
- Towel warmer
- Toilet and hand-washing
The location is unbeatable: one of Berlins biggest public transportation hub "Friedrichstr. S&U-Bahn station" is just 3min walk away.
You'll walk 5min to "Unter den Linden" and 10min to the "Reichstag" and the "Brandenburger Tor". "Hackescher Markt" is also just 1 station away and Alex two.
Food and drink scene, starts right at the door step and the "Berliner Ensemble" as well as "Deutsches Theater" and "Friedrichstadt Palast" are under 10min walking distance.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Be aware, that S-Bahn and trains pass by every 3 minutes. The triple-glazing-windows shield from most of the noise, but you will still hear a little bit. If you are a silence-lover, this place may not be for you. However, if you like city buzz like me, you'll love it!
- The internet is Vodafone cable and delivers 250Mbit download and 25Mbit upload speed. Keep in mind that you achieve 250Mbit download only with LAN-cable. Wifi provides about 50-60Mbit download.
- It would be lovely if you could water the plants once a week and check the letterbox weekly.
- Crypto-currency mining and other heavy-electricity usage activities are not allowed.
