Ein Paar sucht eine 2 Zimmer-Wohnung

Hello! We are a couple looking for an apartment in Tübingen (or somewhere close) to rent. We are going to start our Masters at the university in October. We are sorry we are writing this in English, but our German is still very basic for now. But feel free to contact us in German -we are making a great effort to learn and we hope we will soon start speaking more (we also speak Spanish and French, if that is better).

The kind of place we are looking for:
Price: max 900 Euros/month warm
Size: min 30 m2 (a 1.5 apartment is also ok; or a 3 room apartment)
Location: max. 45 minutes by public transport from University of Tübingen
Date of moving: between 01/10 and 01/11
Pets allowed: we have a very well-behaved cat that is used to living in apartments (and we are hoping we can move with him). He is small, quiet, has short fur and we keep his nails short.

Big Plus:
-If the place has a balcony or access to garden
-If the place has an equipped kitchen
-If the place is furnished or partially furnished
-Good access to public transportation
-The closest to the university the better
-Preferably long term rent. We are going to be in Tübingen for at least two years, but if the rent is for 1 year or even 6 months it is okay.

About us:
We are a married couple. Ana (27 years old) is from Mexico, she is a translator and a language teacher. Lana (36 years old) is from the UK and is a science teacher. We are both going to study a master. We lived and worked in Stockholm for the past year (before we lived in Mexico), but Ana is now in Tübingen for some weeks. We are very respectful and relaxed people that enjoy reading, watching movies and exercising.

We will not be working in Germany for now (only studying) but we have savings and can show proof of income and German blocked bank account. We have reference from our previous landlords. We also have close relatives in Germany.
