The room is fully furnished and is great for someone who needs a temporary solution while looking for a permanent place. It is within a newly renovated Altbau, so everything in the apartment is practically new. It has a spacious kitchen and living room as well as a balcony.
The building is full of young families and internationals, and everybody is really supportive of each other and we get along really well.
The apartment is in the beautiful area of Alt-Rixdorf, less than 5 minutes from the Ringbahn and the U7, so it's easy to get everywhere. It also has a great selection of bars and restaurants around it, so you won't get bored discovering your new neighborhood. In less than five minutes, you can reach a Kaufland, Aldi and BioMarkt, so you won't have to walk much to do your groceries.
You would only share with one other person who works full time and is often visiting his girlfriend outside Berlin. He is from Germany and is very happy to speak German or English at home. We usually like to hang out in the kitchen throughout the week or go grab beer or coffee in the weekends.
In this sense, we prefer to sublet to someone who is also working or starting to work in Berlin, as the flat is definitely not a party flat.
Everything is included in the rent, so you don't have to pay anything other than an initial deposit and the monthly rent. Sadly because it is a short sublease I cannot offer Anmeldung.
