I will be moving out and am offering my ca. 21 sq meter room in a WG that is spread across two floors and with 6 other people. The whole building used to be a housing project, and they have had the contract for around 30 years, so it is very secure. There are three bathrooms and a shared kitchen, and the flat is spread across the fourth and fifth floor. The place is tidy and quiet, and the housemates a mix of men and women from Germany, Italy, and Japan. The flatmates are primarily musicians, creative people, or people working in creative arts management or art history.
The room will be unfurnished apart from a bed and is available for first three months, with the possibility of a 1 year or eventually unlimited contract, depending on how you get on with the other flatmates. Anmeldung is possible. The room is facing an innenhof and so is very quiet.
The WG isl located about a 7-8 minute walk from S Bahn Prenzlauer Allee and U Ebenswalderstrasse. There are also trams and busses avaliable even closer by. There is a nah kauf less than five minutes walking and the street is full of restaurants and bars. Other supermarkets are 5-10 minutes walking. The house faces Helmholtzplatz, which is a very cute little park.
