Gemütliches WG-Zimmer ab Juni bis August gesucht 🌻

My name is Lena and I’m a 23 yo student from Poland. This summer I will be doing an internship in a laboratory near Freie Universität, so I am I'm currently on a quest to find a cozy and sunny room, ideally with a sense of WG-community and somewhere near my workplace.

My timeframe is generally 3 months (01.06 - 01.09), but if I find a shorter offer appealing, I can consider it too! Also, I am applying to master programs in Berlin, so if we get along well and the room is still available… I might stick around for longer :)

Few things about me: I have recently finished my Bachelor in Biotechnology, so ofc I’m into life sciences. But not only that, since I have spent my gap year this year studying liberal arts, and it was an amazing, mind-opening experience! I love sports - I'm part of a football team, but apart from trainings, I often go running, and I love to explore the city this way. I am also a bit of a film and music nerd, they fuel my creativity and discussions. Things I love, in random order: clay crafts, indie music, ecology, coffee, Andrea Arnold’s movies, and juggling. Lately, I've discovered the joy of strolling around the city with my camera, and then playing with photo editing. I think I would do it more often in Berlin, as I am sooo excited to experience this city in different ways. Since I have spent last summer here, I already have some favourite spots, but I am always into exploring Berlin further 🚀

Now, my auto-advertisement :) I have been living in shared flats for 4 years now, so sharing space, avoiding conflicts, establishing & respecting boundaries are nothing new to me. I have always been ‘the clean one’ in my previus flats (although it’s not OCD level), so there’s a good chance, it will stay this way. I was lucky enough to become close friends with my current flatmates, so I'm all about integration, getting to know each other, and spending nice evenings sipping wine, playing board games, or exploring the city together. However, if you prefer your own space, I am also completely fine with that. Generally, I am an enthusiastic & energetic person, but I can chill out and be a part of a peaceful environment 🏡

I am vegetarian, so if you’re up for some plant-based dinners, I think we will get along :) Also, I do not smoke. I have a privilege of owning the cutest dog in the universe, but unfortunately he will not join me on my Berlin adventure, so no pets on my part. Regarding communication, I speak Polish & English fluently, but I am also happy to practice my German, French, or Spanish!
