Berufstätiger sucht ein Zimmer in einer WG

Ich heiße Hayden, und ich bin Americana. Ich lerne seit fünf monaten deutsch, aber ich kan jetzt spreche nua ein bissian und verstehe ein bissian mehr.

I will continue in English to better explain myself. I just wanted to show off a bit of the limited German that I have learned. I’m looking forward to learning more! :) I can also speak Spanish fluently, although my grammar is a bit poor.

I am 28, and I am moving to Eberswalde from Bozeman, Montana, on January 9th for an engineering job at the company Enerkíte. I am very excited about this move and to participate in the airborne wind energy industry while humanity transitions to green energy.

A bit about me: I feel very at home in nature, and so I am excited to explore the woods around Eberswalde. My greatest interest currently is cross-country paragliding, and I can't wait to fly in Germany. Some of my other favorite activities include traveling, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, tinkering, good movies, woodworking, and discussions of science, math/technology.

I am not strictly vegan, but I do eat predominantly plant-based for environmental reasons. I party infrequently, but I have a great time when I do, and I really like to hang out with small to medium-sized groups of friends. I am a good and level-headed communicator, and I prefer to talk about problems while they are small before they become real issues. I would say that, overall, I am relaxed, excited, and easy to get along with as a roommate. :)
