The house is on two floors. On the first floor, there is a big bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, a big living room with a balcony, the kitchen (also with a small balcony), and this small but cozy room. On the upper floor, there are other 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower.
The room that you will have, is a 9m2 room on the lower floor (see pictures).
The house is already furnished.
There is also a bike shelter and the space for a car (not covered).
The house is in a really cool position!
Less than 10 minutes from the pedestrian area but not crowded with tourists! Everything is reachable with a 5-10 minutes walk (3 supermarkets at 500-600 m, 2 pharmacies, some restaurants and other shops...).
It's in front of the Loisach, so we have a nice view from the balcony, and 5 minutes to some of the paths that lead to the Kramerplateauweg (so it's perfect for jogging or walking in the forest).
I am Anna, I am from Italy and I work in Garmisch at IFU (Institut für Meteorologie und Klimaforschung) as a post-doc.
The flat will be shared also with Markus (PhD student at ifu), Edda (PhD student in Scotland and here for her fieldwork) and Cristobal (our future Michelin star chef)
We are not party animals, but we sometimes enjoy nice dinners together. This doesn't mean that you need to join us if you are asocial... we value your freedom :p
Our landlady is super cool!
We are looking for a relaxed and nice flatmate. If you are fun it's better, but it's not a strict requirement :)
The room is free for two months!
