Hi dear friends of sub-urban life,
We will have a free room in our two-story house starting April 10 here in Kleinmachnow. Your room(ca. 22 squaremeters) is furnished with a private bathroom and with access to the south-side balcony, overlooking the scenic Düppel pond. You'd share a fully furnished kitchen, the cozy place, with access to a small roof top.
The house reminds me of a French countryside home, with the wooden floor boards and furniture in all rooms.
Other extra perks are the large garden and a garden house for parking your bike or other projects.
The house is located conveniently at the North-East end of Kleinmachnow, with access to public transport just a few steps out the house. I usually take my car or go by train to be in the city in 30 minutes. Grocery stores etc are all in walking or biking range.
The area is pretty quiet and scenic, with millions of paths to walk on. Down the road there is a cinema and theater that shows cool independent movies and puts on special shows, like the monthly music jam sessions.
I grew up in Germany, but just moved back to KLM in December from a longer time living in the U.S., so international friends are very welcome.
I am wheeling a lot for work those days and I am pretty active outside, so the time in the house is mostly spend cooking up some meals. I occasionally play the guitar and sing.
Ulla, the owner of the house, lives on the first floor of the house, she has spend most of her life in France, which I believe made her a great person to chat with an open mindset. Ulla has 4 cats and she sometimes plays her baby-grand piano, a delight for music fans. Ulla an amazing host and has been super welcoming. I am even able to put out some raised beds for a veggie garden this year.

All utilities and Internet are included in monthly flatrate. The flatmate will be reduce in the summer months when heating isn't required as much.
