Available from February 'til mid May: flexible about move-in/ -out dates.

The room faces south, opening on an unobstructed patch of green, so it gets sun all day long and it has a nice view. It has sturdy, well insulated walls, great to keep heat in and noise away. It is great for chilling as the sun passes by, and has plenty of space for forniture without feeling cramped.

Since I'm only moving out of the room for a few months, the furniture will stay in the room and will be available for you to use, along with some extra items if needed (e.g., blankets, pillows, etc.). Of course, I will make enough space for you to live comfortably and feel at home. In exchange, I ask that you be kind and caring of the space you will be living in. It is my little project and is special to me.

The house is big, in a quiet area right next to many supermarkets and in easy reach of all Leipzig's neighborhoods. No more tough choices between hanging in the east, west, or south: everything is five to twenty minutes away, with tram or bike! Public transport is less than 5 minutes walk, and there is a few parks within walking distance. The roads next to the house do not have much traffic

The house comes with all the appliances and comforts you'd expect, plus a dishwasher. The shared spaces are big and the bathroom comes with a bathub. :)

You will be sharing this gem of a house with three other people:

Mariana is a bassoonist, Master student at the HMT and working in orchestras all around Germany. Baking as many cakes and bread as she can, when she isn't practicing, is one of her many hobbies. She will be always up for going deep digging in all the flea markets of the city and unreveal the most hidden treasures.

Victor is a line cook turned art student, currently going to HGB and producing amazing meals between a Rundgang and the other, always happy to share a glass or a dish.

Gustav is our rockstar, currently playing in a Midwest emo band and touring around Saxony and surroundings and constantly practicing percussion or guitar. He loves sock monkeys and cheese. And you can always rely on him if you want to have a stick and poke tattoo.

We all have busy schedules and we give each other space, but we also like to be there for the occasional get-together and whenever someone is in need. We like to share and we are looking for someone that would like to participate in the flat life, in terms of respect and openness.

Since we are mainly communicating in english, we look for someone comfortable with the language. We also speak German, Portuguese, French and Swedish.

The room is available from the beginning of February until mid-May. We can discuss the move-in date, and the same goes for the move-out date. I’m flexible within reason for both, so just let me know what works best for you, and I’m sure we can find a solution that works for both of us and the whole shared flat. :)
