$1400 Nice Room in Big Beautiful Hermosa 5bd/3.5ba House

We have a room opening up in our big, bright, beautiful Hermosa Beach house. We are super saddened to lose a beloved roommate, but we're excited to welcome a new one into our home.

The room is available for move in March 1st or immediately this month (flexible) and the lease is up June 1st. If we find awesome replacements and everyone is happy, we might look to extend the lease but we'll wait to decide that as a group.

It is a 6 person, 5 bed, 3.5 bath house with three floors:
1st floor: huge 4 stall garage with bicycles to share and plenty of room for toys
2nd floor: 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and nice front load washer/dryer laundry machines
3rd floor: master bedroom, giant living room, half bath, fantastic clean open plan kitchen with all new stainless appliances, dining table, and a large balcony terrace looking over hermosa with views to palos verdes and the ocean

The house is in an awesome location on a quiet and safe street, walking distance to sushi, pizza, indian, american, mediterranean, starbucks, pinkberry, trader joes, CVS, some bars, 7-eleven, barber/hair stylist, car wash, and a hardware store. The beach is 0.75 miles away. What more could you want?

The current roommates are Andrew, Adam, Hannah, Rita, and Will. We're all in our mid-late 20's and we are a musician, yoga instructor / healthy living chef, rocket scientist, educator, and clown (though not actually a clown - that'd be scary). We like surfing, riding our beach cruisers down the strand, cooking, climbing, hiking, skiing, yoga, flying airplanes, reading, relaxing on the beach or the balcony, paddleboarding, scuba diving, and science.

The room that is available is a good sized bedroom, with big windows, great sunlight, ample closet, clean carpet, and a pretty orange-flowered tree with a hummingbird that likes to greet you in the morning. See photos of the room as it currently is - all photos are of the common areas and the room that is available. It is open for discussion whether the room is to be provided furnished or not.
