Room
The 16 sqm room faces south, so the sun shines in almost all day. From the window you have a beautiful view of the neighbors' gardens. There are shutters on the outside of the window. The rent is a flat rate, so all costs are included, and is around €400. There would be a discount of €80 for the washing machine and other purchases related to shared living.
The room is handed over partially furnished. There is a large wall unit with an integrated desk installed by the landlord. This gives you plenty of storage space and you can easily store all your things. A mirror, curtains and a lamp are also available.
In addition to the landlords, another shared apartment also lives in the house. If you have any technical issues, you can contact the landlords at any time, and they will take care of them very quickly. In general, the other parties in the house behave quietly, parties are the exception.
The highlight of the apartment is the huge 13 sqm balcony.
The kitchen is also quite large, so nothing stands in the way of a game or cooking evening.
You can park your bike in the garage and if you have a car, there is always a parking space available in the neighborhood.
Location
The Geistviertel is very nice and quiet to live in. Many families live on our street (a dead end) and you can be at Aasee or Grüner Grund in 5 minutes by bike. A pharmacy, several parket shops, Subway, a kebab shop, a delicious ice cream parlor, two bakeries and a garden center are all within walking distance. It takes 5 minutes by bike to get to Rewe, Edeka, Hit or Netto. It takes 15-20 minutes by bike to get to Albert-Schweitzer-Campus/Correnstraße (natural sciences & medicine) and 12 minutes to get to the castle/Juridicum/ULB.
It only takes a minute to walk to the next bus stop (Buckstraße), from there 2 lines (every 10/15 minutes) go towards the main station. The journey takes 15 minutes (even by bike).
Life in a shared flat
I, Hannah (25), am studying for a master's degree in social work. I also work as a nanny. In my free time, I support a child with disabilities, meet up with friends and dance in a club. I like to go to cafes and drink a little too much coffee at home :D. When I'm not out and about, I really enjoy reading, baking and cooking. I often try out a new vegan recipe. I moved from Rhineland-Palatinate to Münster for my studies and am already looking forward to a new flatmate who likes to spend time in Münster on the weekends. I'm already looking forward to a mulled wine evening in the shared flat :)
Life in a shared flat is very relaxed, be it spontaneous conversations in the kitchen or a cozy cooking evening, true to the motto "Everything is possible, nothing is necessary". In summer, the table grill on the balcony is used again. Cleanliness and order should not be foreign words to you. We have a cleaning schedule app in which we also enter joint purchases etc.
