WG gesucht / Looking for a room [PhD]

Since I will soon move to Tuebingen in order to start working towards my PhD, I am looking for a room in a WG. I am quite flexible with the move-in date: although I would prefer May, anything from ASAP to June would work.

I am originally from Italy, but I have moved abroad around three years ago for my Master's (computer science). I have been living in shared flats since, so I am used to coliving and to taking care of common areas. I enjoy spending time together and organizing activities with housemates, but also try to respect everyone's privacy. I am also quite fond of cooking: in my current WG we usually have dinner together on a weekly basis, and it is always a great time. In any case, I also cook for myself daily, and I am often trying to learn new recipes.

I do not have any particular requirement for the room, apartment or housemates. I have stayed in both small and large WGs, and I had good times in both. It would be nice if the apartment itself would not be too far from the Max Planck Institute, as I would like to cycle to the office, but it is not too important, as I do not mind a longish commute. I would also be happy to get to know people that are willing to do sports together, including running, cycling or volleyball, or any kind of fun activity.

As you can probably guess from this ad, my German is not good enough to hold a proper conversation, but I plan to improve it. For the time being, I mainly speak English and Italian.
