Former french student looking for a flatshare in Vienna

Hey,
I'm Jean-Marie, 29, from France (Bretagne).
I've finished my studies in social philosophy and esthetics (critical theory) in Rennes and now I'd like to improve my German by coming to live in a German-speaking country.
I learned german at school but I've mostly forgotten it because I've never had the occasion to speak. Nevertheless I'm able to understand and express basic sentences.
I chose Vienna because it's a big and beautiful city where (apparently) life is very good and the cultural life is rich.

Until recently, I lived in a flat-share in France for 2 years and everything went very well. I'm a sociable person but I like to have some quiet time to myself. Of course, I'd like to have nice flatmates: I'm coming to Vienna to meet new people and maybe make some new friends!

I like reading and writing, movies, music, sport and parties.
I enjoy cooking (but I would like to know how to prepare more meals). I'm not a veggie but I don't eat much meat and I don't mind eating vegetarian.

About money: I'm no longer a student, but I still receive a scholarship for a year and I have some money saved up. Also, since I'm a foreigner, I don't have any Schufa (jetzt beantragen) . If you prefer, I can pay months of rent in advance.

What I'm looking for :
- Duration : I am flexible on arrival and departure dates. I'd like to spend winter and spring in Vienna: so let's say for the moment that I arrive in December/January and leave in April/May. If I want to stay longer I'll look for another flat share.
- Affordable : 500€ max.
- A shared apartment with 1-6 other roomates, between the ages of 20 and 35. (I don't mind the gender).
- German-speaking flatmates so I can practice. Its better if they also speak English (or French) so we can understand each other at first.
- Not just a practical but also a friendly living environment.
- A quiet room where I can study, read and write in peace.
- No cats : sadly I am allergic to cat hair.
- I'm not a smoker myself and I would prefer that smokers smoke at the window.
- A furnished apartment if possible : as I'm coming from far away, I'd prefer the apartment to be already furnished, but if it's not, that's okay, I'll bring what I can in my car and manage on the spot for the rest.

Location :
The apartment should ideally be :
- in one of these districts : 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9
- not far from the old town (by foot or public transport).
- near a station of U-Bahn, tramway or bus.
- in a vibrant and lively neighborhood with students, but not too noisy (not too close to a dense ring of traffic).
- if possible nearby open spaces, cafés and inexpensive bars.
