Es gibt jede Menge Restaurants, Läden/Bäckereien und Bars direkt vor der Tür! Auf dem Kollwitzplatz findet jeden Samstag ein Markt statt, auf dem es Essen, Getränke sowie allerlei Kunsthandwerk zu kaufen gibt. Von der Wohnung aus sind es nur 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Alexanderplatz oder zum Mauerpark. In der Umgebung des Mauerparks finden auch regelmäßig Veranstaltungen statt (z.B. Sportveranstaltungen im Stadion oder Konzerte in der Max-Schmeling-Halle). In der Kulturbrauerei (15 min zu Fuß) gibt es ein Kino, und dort finden regelmäßig ebenfalls Veranstaltungen statt (z.B. jeden Sonntag ein Street Food Market).
Es gibt viele Sportmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe (z.B. Yogastudios, Outdoor-Workout-Spots, Tischtennisplatten, Fußballplätze, Tennisplätze usw.)
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Straßenbahn & S-Bahn): Die Linie M2 ist 1 Minute Fußweg entfernt und bringt einen entweder direkt zum Alexanderplatz (nur 3 Haltestellen), oder in die andere Richtung zur S-Bahn-Haltestelle „Prenzlauer Allee“ (ebenfalls nur 3 Haltestellen). Die Linie M10 ist 7 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und verbindet den Hauptbahnhof mit der Warschauer Str.

Food & Drinks: There are tons of restaurants, shops/bakeries and some bars right outside your door and plenty to explore! On Kollwitzplatz, there’s a market every Saturday where you can find amazing food & drinks and all kinds of handcrafted arts. Entertainment: From the apartment, it’s only a 20 min walk to Alexanderplatz or Mauerpark (great for Karaoke on Sundays!). In the area around Mauerpark there are also regular events (e.g. sport events in the stadium or concerts in the Max-Schmeling-Halle). In “Kulturbrauerei”, there are regular events (e.g. food market every Sunday) and there’s also a cinema inside of it. Sport: There are many opportunities for sport in close proximity (e.g. yoga studios, outdoor workout spots, ping pong tables, soccer courts, tennis courts etc.)
///Public Transport (Tram & S-Bahn) Line M10 is 7 min walk from your door, and connects the way between Hauptbahnhof and Warschauer Str. Line M2 is 1 min walk away from your door and brings you either straight to Alexanderplatz (only 3 stops), or in the other direction to the S-Bahn Stop “Prenzlauer Allee” (only 3 stops as well). Alternatively, you can also walk to the S-Bahn Stop (ca. 15 mins).
