Dear all,
During my maternity leave I am subletting our furnished apartment in Ferney. Ideal for someone who just starting working in Geneva and would like to get some time for finding a permanent solution or an intern/consultant/ employee on a short term contract.
Time: From 01. December 2018 – 15. July 2019 (We are looking for someone for the entire time, please contact us only if you are planning to stay for the entire period)
Price: 1500€ per month
Size: Approx. 72 m2 (Kitchen, Living/Dinning Room, 2 Bed Rooms, Bathroom, separate Toilet, small room to store things, Balcony, Cellar, extra Room for Bicycles, Parking lot in front of the house, additional Garage for car or ski equipment)
Furniture: The entire apartment includes furniture (see pictures, excluding flowers and carpets). The furniture should not be removed. Also, kitchen equipment is available, so that the person who is moving in doesn't need to bring anything.
Deposit: Because of all the furniture (including TV and internet) a security deposit of 2800€ should be payed to the landlady.
Location: It is located in Ferney-Voltaire (Avenue de Vessy). It is a quiet area but nevertheless everything is close by. It is located across the street of CERN LHC Point 7, the Lycee International (International School) is 2 min away and the language school GRETA is also across the street. With the car you need only 10-15 minutes (depending on the traffic) to WHO/ILO/IOM and respectively to other UN-agencies. I usually took the bicycle to WHO (20-25 minutes without electric bicycle and slow pace). These are the distances to the Bus stops: Bus Stop O-Bus 2 minutes walking (160m), Bus-Stop F and Y 12 minutes walking (950m), Bus Stop U and Z 15 min (1.2 km). I think the biggest advantage of the flat is that it is directly located at the vineyards where you have plenty of options for jogging. The sport facilities are also in walking distance (see picture) including the swimming pool of Ferney.
Contract: The contract will be with the landlady who is a former WHO-employee and living in France-Voisin (means she will be around in case you need someone). She speaks English and French.
