I am moving out of my beautiful, fully furnished rental apartment in central Cologne as I am moving to another city, and I am looking for a new tenant to take over my lease potentially from 1.08.2024 or earlier. The flat is fully furnished and the flatrate rent includes gas, electricity, heating and internet. You can literally just move in with a suitcase. The landlord speaks German and English.
This is a quiet 48 sqm apartment with a balcony, and a second spacious terrace deck, located in Agnesviertel 50670. It is a 1 min walk from the closest U-bahn station and about a 10 min walk from Cologne Hauptbahnhof. There are supermarkets, gyms and a DM within a 5 min walk and lots of very nice restaurants and bars.

The apartment is on the first floor. The building is clean, well-maintained and quite new. The area and neighbours are quiet and peaceful. The highlight of the apartment is a massive summer deck which is perfect for barbecues, parties or just chilling in the sun. There are washing machines and dryers for free in the basement.
The apartment is more suitable for a single person and might be a bit small for two people as the kitchen and living room are in the same space, but could be managed.

The contract is unlimited, but the landlord is also happy to rent to people who are looking for limited rents, ie if you're just in Cologne for a few months for a temporary assignment.
The flat is especially suitable for professionals newly arrived in Cologne, who are looking for an already established dwelling and do not want the stress of setting up a new home (buying a new kitchen and furniture etc) from scratch.
