Looking for Accommodation in Garching (MSc in Informatics at TUM)

Hello!

My name is Hürkan Uğur. I’m 26 years old male and from Turkey. Starting in April 2025, I’ll be doing my MSc in Informatics at TUM. I’m a computer engineer and looking for a long-term place to stay in Munich.

I’m someone who loves to cook (bonus: Don’t worry I don’t burn the kitchen hahaha) and I think cooking together would be a lot of fun! I can also cook you some Turkish dishes and even Sushi (If I can find the ingredients and not get lost in Germany :D). About the music taste... It's a bit tricky ahahah. I enjoy classical music, Eurovision songs and soundtracks from movies, series and games (I know it may sound strange ahahaha). Oh, and I’m also a big fan of fantasy and sci-fi movies. Not to mention I'm a Potterhead!

When I’m not waiting for my Hogwarts letter at home, I would enjoy cycling with you and discovering Germany. I also enjoy hanging out and chatting, playing card games like UNO or League of Legends etc. Since 2020, I’ve been volunteering at Giiku Games (a German company) as a GM for Florensia Online, so I’m pretty familiar with German culture. I’m learning German too (A1 level, but hey, I try!).

Life in a shared flat will be a new experience for me so I am also excited! Meaning we can share great moments like talking, laughing or cooking together. I’m clean and organized, so no worries about unwashed pots turning into science experiments.
