Area
The flat is situated in the quarter Hoheluft-West in the district Eimsbüttel. This Bourgeois area is called Generalsviertel (Generals Quarter) and located in the heart of Hamburg with heaps of shops, restaurants and bars along Eppendorfer Weg within walking distance. The area is characterized by its Wilhelminan style buildings and town houses, which were erected around the turn of the 19th Century. The area and the flat in particular the flat is located in a very quiet street with no major traffic connection.
The district provides a Mediterranean flair with quiet and the adjacent Isebekkanal (water canal) and the many small coffee places in the sun. The area is full of surprises, you would not need to do anything else in Hamburg but strolling around here and discover something new each day.
Tuesday and Friday you have the well-known farmers market (Isemarkt) nearby with plenty of fresh local products.
The area is bordering the rich and nice area of Eppendorf to the East and Bohemian area of St. Pauli/Eimsbüttel to the West.

Transportation
Public transport (tube U3, bus #5) is easily available within 4 minute walking. The bus and tube station Hoheluftbrücke grants you access to all key areas of Hamburg with a direct connection. Sternschanze (Schanze) is only two stops away, the nightlife district of St. Pauli 4 stops, the famous Landungsbrücken/Elbphilamony only 6 stops etc.
City Centre: The city centre is available either via direct bus #5 or metro (U3) as well within 15 min.
Train Station: The train station Dammtor (10 min.) or Hauptbahnhof (15 min) are directly connected via #5 Metrobus.
Airport: The airport can be reached via taxi (15 min) or metro (20 min). There is parking readily available in front of the house.

The indicated price is for a short-term stay of 6 months or less. If you desire to stay for a longer period, I am sure we can find an amicable solution for a lower price, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Internet, heating, electricity, water costs are included.

Upon departure, we kindly ask you to leave your room and the common room clean and maintained. A departure cleaning fee of 100 Euro may apply.

A professional cleaning service may be made available if required.
