Hey folks! We are subletting a pretty room from June 1st until July 31st (text us also if you´re looking for a shorter period of time!). It has about 20 m2 and is fully furnished with desk, closet space, shelf, cozy chair and cool Berlin style mattress on the floor and has premium garden view.
The flat is in a really pretty house on Siegburger Straße in Wilmersdorf with a large garden that we can spend time in. Outside, the street and neighborhood are quiet. But we’re very close to the Ringbahn and U3 (8 min walk to Heidelberger Platz) and 15 minute walk away from U7 and U9. So it doesn’t take long to get to Tempelhofer Feld in the east or Grunewald in the west. Something to know is that the landlords live in the house as well, above our flat. They’re a nice couple who wouldn’t get mad at you for playing music loudly or anything like that. But a pro-tip is to introduce yourself to them and ask about their plants, they might invite you up for a sekt then!
You will live with Sebi, Micha, Kathi, and Ernest, the cat!! We would like to find someone who would like to actively engage in living together, so we are definitely not a Zweck-WG. Currently we are having a pretty ´family-style‘ living situation: That means we like open doors and shared cooking/activities. We are also sharing a lot of groceries and a veggie box from the Solawi, but this is not a must. So in general, we are really living together, not just in the same flat! But of course everyone´s need for private space is respected.
A quick introduction of the room mates:
Ernest is 8, a real cowboy with an attitude. He’s very social. If he’s not following someone around all day then he’s napping on Sebi's new couch or hunting down some mice. Yes, pet his belly with caution. No, don’t put him on your lap. Yes, give him snacks.
And then there´s the humans: Sebi, 28, is working in Potsdam helping cities to adapt to climate change via remote sensing. He is always active in something: biking, fotography, or scanning ebay kleinanzeigen for a new old couch (but certainly not playing board games!) Kathi, 28, is finishing her masters in Urbane Zukunft and using the remaining time in uni sports to try out Kungfu and modern dance (brain goes brr with coordinating arms and legs.) Also loves listening to gruesome true crime podcasts and picking flowers on walks. And Micha, 28, is finishing his Environmental Planning Studies while spoiling the cat with treats or spoiling us with delicious dinners. He likes to party until the morning, to repare bikes and keeps us updated about the Wilmersdorfer deutsch rap scene. (Do you want to go to a deutschrap concert?)
If you think you would be a good fit, we'd love to hear a short introduction from you. We're looking forward to hear from you!
