Hello! I am renting my room in my WG for a month and a half as there is a gap between the previous person moving out and me moving back in. It would be a 2 person flatshare also with our two cats, so it is very important that you are fond of cats 🐈
The room is bright and pretty spacious. Windows face the east so you get more light/sun in the morning. It is furnished with a bed, bedside table, shelf, desk and a carpet.
The apartment is close to Rathaus Lichtenberg and about 12 minutes walking from Friedrichshain. The neighbourhood is mostly residential and very calm, but there are also some shops and restaurants close by. Stadtpark Lichtenberg is very close and about 20 minutes walking away is the large Herzberge park.
Public transport:
Loeperplatz (Tram M13, 16) - 5 minutes walking
Frankfurter Allee (U5, Ring-bahn, Tram etc.) - 12 minutes walking
The flatshare would be 2 persons and 2 cats. Your flatmate would be Franz, an architecture student from Colombia who is super sweet.
I'm looking for someone who communicates well and is calm and easy-going. Keeping a fairly clean and tidy space is also important for this WG. This means cleaning the common spaces (kitchen, bathroom) once a week, tidying up the kitchen after cooking etc.
As mentioned, it is important that you are fond of cats and prepared to share the space with them. This includes hair kind of getting all over, as well as the occasional hairball on the carpet.
My current roommate will take responsibility with most of the everyday care for the cats (like feeding, emptying litterboxes etc.), but he might occasionally ask you to help with those basic tasks, for example if he is away.
The cats are both old and very chill. Ché 🦁 is usually more friendly immediately, more playful and has more energy in general. Schmuh 🐼 usually takes a while to get used to new people but likes cuddling more and gets grumpy when he is hungry.
The rent would be 500 eur per month, so 750 for the whole period (15th of November - 31st of December). The move out date can be a bit flexible depending on what is best for you, since I'm probably not moving back in exactly on January 1st. If you want to rent it for just part of the whole period that could also be arranged depending on the dates.
