This bedroom is very cozy, with very high ceilings, and a proper platform bed which effectively doubles the usable space of the room. The platform is made from solid wood, and if you are under 185cm tall then you can stand underneath without a problem. On top, the platform bed is cozy, with a window next to you, and its quite nice to sleep up there. The window is looking towards in the back of the building (Hinterhof), so its quiet.
Currently the bedroom is semi-furnished, with a desk and some shelving units. On the platform bed there is currently a 140cm mattress, and the flatmate moving out would like to leave it behind and sell it to the next tenant. So if you want to, you can buy it, or if you have your own mattress then that's completely fine too, then she will take it with her.
Otherwise, the apartment is quite large and very beautiful. Its an Atlbau, with very high ceilings, big windows, and generally we made it cozy with many lights and nice things that one needs.
The kitchen is large, has a big table and a couch, also a washing machine, a dishwasher, gas oven and gas hobs etc. Everything that one needs.
The neighbourhood is quite cool, we have all sorts of stores, Rewe, Edeka, Denn's bio, Netto, spatis, flower stores, hairdressers, restaurants, falafel, pizza, bakery, coffee, bars etc. and even a small cinema bar in walking distance. Additionally, there's a small park right across the street, and ten minutes walking distance is the big Volkspark Friedrichshain.
The connections are great, its on Petersburger Str. right in front of the Straßmannstraße M10 tram stop. The m10 is a great tram line which travels every 5 or 10 minutes and takes you to Warschauer Straße or to the central station (Hauptbahnhof) and Turmstraße.
10 minutes walking by foot you reach S-bahn Landsberger Allee which is the Ringbahn. Another great connection that can take you pretty much anywhere in Berlin.
We're looking for a new person to join our WG!
At first, the untermiete contract will be at first limited to 3-months so that everyone can feel it out and see if its a good fit, and then possibly extend to a long-term contract.
Your roommates would be a a boy (28) who works in film and studies physiotherapy, and a girl (22) who works in a children's circus and studies theatre.
We are open minded, left, LGBTQ+ friendly, and don't accept any bullshit. The flat is also smoke free and drug free, and we don't really do parties until the sunrise or things like this anymore, so if you're a person who is looking for a party apartment, then we are probably not the right place for you :)
