Hello, we are Julia, Jana and Carl we are looking for a two new roommates (see our other post)! Our long term room mate is leaving and we hope to find someone suitable again! :) 
Some facts first:

We’re looking for:
- 1 person (so no couples)
- 6 month contract (with possibility of extension)
- Clean and respectful

The room we’re offering:
- Fully furnished incl. bed, table, tv, couch, chair, lamp, and curtains
- bright and spacious
- possible to move in a bit later

The flat:
- Bright rooms with floorboards and very high ceilings in an Altbau (old building)
- 2 large bathrooms
- A large kitchen with all the amenities
- Two stretches of long hallways

Everything is included in the rent.

Although our apartment is not centrally located, it has great connections to any part of the city.

- 5 mins to Neukölln
- 8 mins to Ostkreuz
- 5 mins away from inside the Ring
- 30 mins to the Airport

The apartment is located directly next to the train station. Luckily there are no issues with train noises at all, and on the plus side you never have to bother with an additional walk home once you reach the station.

Around the area you'll find Lidl, Edeka, Rossman, DM, bakeries, cafes and, of course, your local Späti and Kebab place.

5 minutes away there is also a swim hall and the Plänterwald (forest/park) for a lovely walk or jog along the river. In fact, the whole area is surrounded by idyllic green spots and there are lakes not so far away either!

You will join a relaxed and friendly WG with Carl from New Zealand, Julia from Spain and Jana from Germany. We usually speak English or German. Our WG is also mixed between students and working people. You’ll find somebody working from home most of the time.

Yet, we still find plenty time to hang out, sometimes eat together, or play a round of boardgames around our kitchen table. We go out for drinks every so often or enjoy a walk in Treptower Park. And as of recent we’ve been enjoying playing roundnet or going bouldering! :)

We’re all sociable and relatively active. You’ll find Carl in the kitchen cooking fancy things or rollerskating, Julia is currently studying her masters in health psychology in Amsterdam but will be back in February and Jana, who likes rope-climbing and is always down for a chat or a drink!

So our WG is a nice balance of respecting each other’s time, schedules, and needs, but also nurturing cohesion with some group activities. We keep a calm environment in which we can live individual lives and happily have our own peace, but also make sure it’s a friendly space.

Since it’s a 5-person flat, things can get messy pretty quickly, which we always want to avoid. It’s therefore very (!) important to us that the person joining us is respectful and clean. We have a cleaning schedule for every week. We really appreciate high cleaning standards, as well as a respect for the calm atmosphere of our home :)
