The room is 12.25 sqm, and the whole flat is about 75 sqm. It is located on the 3rd floor without an elevator. The flat includes a large bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a second small bathroom. Of course, there is also a kitchen, a living room, and the luxury of a balcony. We have plenty of space, and I would say it's pretty cozy. :)
The room is half-furnished; it contains a closet, and a shelf. The bed is not included. Also, there isn’t a desk at the moment, but if you can’t bring one yourself, I can arrange one for you. :)

Das Zimmer ist 12,25 qm groß, die Wohnung ist insgesamt ca.75 qm groß. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die Wohnung im 3.Stock (Dachgeschoss) liegt und kein Aufzug vorhanden ist. Die Wohnung ist ausgestattet mit einem Bad, einem separaten WC, einer Küche, einem Wohnzimmer und dem Luxus eines Balkons bzw. kleine Dachterrasse. Alles in allem hat man es hier echt gemütlich und geräumig :).
Das Zimmer ist Teilmöbliert, die Schränke würden im Zimmer bleiben. Bett und Schreibtisch sind nicht mehr vorhanden.

The flat is located in Gievenbeck, which is a bit outside the city, but you can reach the city center in about 15 to 20 minutes by bike, depending on your speed. ;) The bus takes about 20 to 25 minutes to the city center or the train station and stops just three minutes from our apartment.
The nearest supermarkets, Lidl and Rewe, are about 5 to 10 minutes away by bike, and the York Center is also quite close.

Die Wohnung liegt in Gievenbeck, also ein bisschen außerhalb, aber je nach Fahrtempo ist man in 15/20 min mit dem Fahrrad in der Stadt. Ansonst fährt auch alle 30 min die Busline 2 (3 min zu Fuß entfernt) eigentlich überall hin wo man hin muss (Innenstadt, Bahnhof). Der nächste Supermarkt (Lidl, Rewe) ist auch so 5-10 min mit dem Fahrrad entfernt, das selbe gilt auch für das Yorkcenter.

Hello, my name is Luca, and I am looking for a new flatmate as my current one is moving back to her home country (she was an Erasmus student). I love meeting new people and would love to share my flat with another Erasmus student again. Most of my flatmates have been Erasmus students, and I’ve made great friends through it. :)
A little bit about myself:
I am currently studying Niederlande-Deutschland-Studien, which is basically Dutch-German relations, covering topics like politics, history, media, economy, and language. As part of my studies, I will be doing an internship from March to June, followed by an Erasmus semester from September to February next year.
That’s why I’m ideally looking for a flatmate who plans to stay in Germany for a full year—I’d love to get to know my flatmate before leaving for my Erasmus semester.
Important note: The landlord will increase the rent starting in September. I’ll talk to him about the exact amount and update the listing as soon as I know more.
A few things about me outside of my studies:
I love music and really enjoy cooking (vegetarian). I’m always open to new recipes and music recommendations! Just a heads-up: I sometimes like to play my music loud (not all the time, of course, but you should be aware that you’ll hear it now and then). Also I’m quite talkative, so just be prepared for that too haha :)
How I imagine living together:
I’d love to have game nights or cook together—I don’t want us to live as total strangers, as this is not just a Zweck-WG. I assume that as an international student, you’d also like to meet new people and explore the city, so it would be great to do some things together.
I also have a cleaning plan, but since it’s just the two of us, keeping the apartment tidy is pretty easy to manage. It’s really important to me that you’re open-minded, as I have a diverse and queer friend group, and I want everyone to feel comfortable in our home :)

Ich bin Luca, bin 22, studiere Niederlande-Deutschland-Studien und liebe Kochen und Musik. Dementsprechend viele Gewürze und Zutaten für alles mögliche findet man auch in der Küche. Also falls du auch gerne kochst oder backst bist du hier genau richtig. Ich hör allerdings auch gerne mal lauter Musik, aber jetzt auch nicht 24/7. Am Wochenende bin ich meistens arbeiten oder auf Konzerten. Und ich rede sehr viel, das sollte dich nicht stören sonst wir das einbisschen schwierig haha. Ich denke das man mit mir als Mitbewohner eine gut Mischung aus WG leben und seiner Ruhe hat.
