The student residence is located on the northwest edge of Gievenbeck. The area is quiet and life here is generally very relaxed, as there are many green areas around the home. By bike it is from here to the Coesfelder Kreuz ca. 7 minutes and to the castle about 15 minutes. The nearest bus stop is not even 50m away. Every 30 minutes you have a connection to the Coesfelder Kreuz, the city and Lake Aas. Otherwise, the facilities of higher education, the Campus-Café, Campus-Gym, Burger King and a baker are in the immediate vicinity. The next shopping options are either in Gievenbeck (Rewe, Lidl) or at the York- Center and both are approx. 10 minutes by bike.

Das Studentenwohnheim befindet sich am nordwestlichen Rand von Gievenbeck. Die Gegend ist ruhig und das Leben hier ist generell sehr entspannt, da um das Wohnheim herum sehr viele Grünflächen liegen. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es von hier aus zum Coesfelder Kreuz ca. 7 Minuten und zum Schloss ca. 15 Minuten. Die nächstgelegene Bushaltestelle befindet sich in nicht einmal 50m Luftlinie. Alle 30 Minuten hat man damit eine Anbindung an das Coesfelder Kreuz, an die Stadt und den Aasee. Ansonsten sind die Anlagen des Hochschulsports, das Campus-Café, Campus-Gym, Burger King und ein Bäcker in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind entweder in Gievenbeck (Rewe, Lidl) oder am York-Center und beide ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad entfernt.

In short: I study civil engineering and am currently in the 4th Bachelor's semester. I'm a communicative guy and always open to meet new people. In good weather, I like to travel with friends, whether on Lake Aas, in the old town, on the canal or elsewhere - I am always in the process for one or other cold drink.
In the evening we can watch football together or play a round of darts.
At the same time, everyone has their freedom, according to the motto "everything can, nothing has to.".

Kurz zu mir: Ich studiere Bauingenieurwesen und bin aktuell im 4. Bachelorsemester. Ich bin ein kommunikativer Typ und immer offen, neue Leute kennenzulernen. Bei gutem Wetter bin ich gerne mit Freunden unterwegs, ob am Aasee, in der Altstadt, am Kanal oder woanders - dabei bin ich für das eine oder andere Kaltgetränk eigentlich immer zu haben.
Abends können wir gerne zusammen Fußball gucken oder ne Runde Darts spielen.
Gleichzeitig hat auch jeder seine Freiräume, nach dem Motto 'Alles kann, nichts muss'.

Bicycle stands are in front of the house, and there is a large car parking lot. Washing machine and dryer are in the basement.
Important: To be able to move into the WG, you must be registered at the University of Münster, FH Münster or another university in Münster. The student residence is part of the Münster student's work and therefore only accepts registered students.

Fahrradständer sind vor dem Haus, außerdem gibt es einen großen Parkplatz fürs Auto. Waschmaschine und Trockner stehen im Keller.
Wichtig: Um in die WG einziehen zu können, musst du an der Uni Münster, FH Münster oder einer anderen Hochschule in Münster eingeschrieben sein. Das Studentenwohnheim gehört zum Studierendenwerk Münster und akzeptiert daher nur eingeschriebene Studierende.
