my house is in a residential and calm area in Quartiere Nomentano, which is kind of the university district right outside the ancient walls of rome historical centre, it's 15 min walk to Piazza Bologna, the main Piazza with student bars and restaurants. 7 min walk to two different bus stops, one that leads both to Termini train station and Piazza Venezia (where via del corso starts, colosseum is behind), the other that brings you to the Città Universitaria and San Lorenzo, also with student bars (university buildings are all around quartiere nomentano, Città Universitaria is the main campus - beware, Sapienza it's the largest campus/uni in Europe, so it's all over the neighbour hood). Metro is a bit further (15 min walk)
on Piazza Annibaliano, but usually I just use the bus to get to the centre. 15 min walk is also the closest catacumbs and mausoleum
the other person that lives in the flat is my mom
(I'm currently still in Munich so I can't send pictures, in the mean time read the description, it's a decent bright room, I promise!)
I'm 22, I've spend the past month in Munchen, and want to come back for a two weeks german language course. I have already spent everything I had on rent for this month so exchanging room is the wise thing to do at this point, I guess. As my room is in Rome and close to the university district, I'm looking for something similar in Munich, not outside of the city or too far from the city centre. We can do a simultaneous exchange or if you have a spare bed or sofa bed I can crush on that and you can then come visit me in rome and share the room with me on my spare bed, but I think simultaneous is better.
about me:
I'm studying my german (I'm passionate about learning languages in general, by far I got some french besides english, and my mothertongue, italian. I had the chance to study latin and ancient greek in high school and loved it). I study singing and I play the piano. I love everything that's art and culture, but my interests are divided accoriding to my two brain empispheres I guess, from drawing, photopgraphy and museums to chess, maths and science. I actually took mathematics for one year in university.
I'm a very tolerant and open minded person (guess this comes with studying philosophy?). I don't smoke, I don't have animals (but I do love them). I like my place clean and tidy, it helps with keeping my mind clean and tidy. I'd like to have a relaxed atmosphere in the house, where everyone can express themselves and openly address anykind of problem!
I kind of think of myself as an introverted person but actually lately it seems like people think of me as an extrovert, I guess if we click and have topics in common I can become very chatty and with the right music I can have real fun! I do love a good party when I'm in the mood or go dancing, hanging out and particularly enjoy live music! I really believe I can adapt to the atmosphere and absorbe the energy of the sorroundings. I'd like to get to know my flatmates, have a chat and hangout, becoming friends would be nice but I also understand that everbody has their business going on.
My quirky traits are that I love salad and I don't drink alcohol, but I swear I am not against it, it's just something about the smell, I guess germans won't like me that much for this, but I'l try to conquer them with something else, maybe I can sing Marlene Dietrich.
I don't have a Schufa (request now) (jetzt beantragen) (jetzt beantragen) (yet at least) as I have never lived in Germany, but I can provide references and whatever document you need.
NEED: washing machine in the apartment, desk to study in the room
