When am I considered a professional/commercial user?

Professional/commercial users include, among others, real estate agents, property managers, housing cooperatives, asset management companies, co-living companies, agencies for furnished accommodation, platforms, websites. Other characteristics include a company in the background such as a GbR, UG or GmbH as well as the employment of employees and the offering of additional services. Commercial marketing on behalf of a private landlord is also defined as “professional/commercial”. From three active ads, we automatically classify you as professional.

Can I set up multiple user accounts?

Unfortunately, this is not yet possible. Only one email address can be saved in the profile, via which the login takes place and to which the messages are also forwarded.

How can I change my profile data such as the email address?

Sign in to your account and access Login Credentials via your profile. Enter your new email address in the "Email Address" field and your password in the "Password" field. Click the button "Apply changes" to change your account to the new email address. The change is not final until you have confirmed the new email address via a link sent to you.

How can I change my password?

Sign in to your account and access Login Credentials via your profile. Enter your password in the "Current password" field and your new password in the "New password" and "Re-type new password" fields. The password must be between 8 and 64 characters long. Use the button "Save changes" to save the new password.

Can I edit my ads later?

Yes. To change details or photos in your ad, first access My ads and then click the three dots to the right of the ad title. Select the option "Edit + Photos".

How do I copy an ad?

First, please open My ads and then click the three dots to the right of the ad title. Select the option "Copy". The ad will initially be copied in a deactivated status. Click on the three dots next to the ad title to activate the offer. Please note that the "Copy" feature is not included in all bookings. The exclusive features you benefit from are listed in the email you receive after your booking.

How do I deactivate/delete an ad?

To deactivate or delete your ad, first open My ads and then click the three dots to the right of the ad title. Select one of the options "Deactivate" or "Delete".

Please note: The booked term does not end when an ad is deactivated or deleted. If you do not want the term to be extended, slide the "auto-renew" slider in the My bookings menu item to the left so that it is white.

How can I add a 360° tour?

At the end of the ad creation form, you will find a field where you can enter the link to a 360° tour you have created on Matterport. This tour will then be added to your offer. In this way, you give interested persons a better sense of space and receive more targeted enquiries.

Are there statistics for my ads?

Yes. The overview of the ad views and the messages received shows how successful your ads are. You can access this data via the menu item Statistics, and also download it as a PDF.

Can I transfer my ads via an interface?

For medium and larger ad packages, an automatic transfer of the objects is possible. If you are interested, please contact us by email at sales@wg-gesucht.de. Our Customer Care team will check whether a connection can be set up for you. How do I book ads?

How much does an ad cost?

If you pay by invoice, you will receive this by email after booking. You can also view your invoices at any time in your account under “My bookings”. How do I apply a coupon code?

Entering your payment details is the last step before the booking is complete. There you will find the field "Coupon code". Enter your personal coupon code and click "apply". You will see the corresponding reduced price. Confirm your booking afterwards by clicking the button "Book with costs".

What terms are available?

You can choose between 5 terms: 14 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. For longer terms, you benefit from a discount: - 15 % for a term of 1 month, -25 % for a term of 3 months, - 33 % for a term of 6 months, - 40 % for a term of 12 months (each compared to a 14-days term).

Can I change the booked ad package during the term?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The booked product consists of the ad package and the term. This combination cannot be adjusted. Of course, you can book additional products at any time if required.

Does the term extend automatically?

You will receive two notifications by email to the registered email address before the term is automatically extended. If you do not react, the ad package will be automatically extended by another term. If you do not want an extension, slide the "auto-renew" slider in the My bookings menu item to the left so that it is white. You will receive a confirmation about the pausing to your registered email address. The ad(s) will then be deactivated after the end of the term and the ad package will be paused.

Does the booked term end if I deactivate or delete an ad?

How can I cancel my advertising subscription as a professional advertiser?

To cancel your ad subscription as a professional advertiser, please proceed as followed:

1. Log in to your account and navigate to the menu item “My bookings”.
2. Find the slider for “Auto-renew” and move it to the left until it turns white.
3. You will immediately receive a confirmation of the cancellation to your registered e-mail address.

Important notes on cancellation:

• Your termination will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Your ads will be automatically deactivated at the end of the billing period.

How do I receive my invoice?

As soon as your booking is completed by clicking the "Book with costs" button, you will receive the invoice by email to the registered email address or the email address saved for receiving invoices.

Can I see my invoices on WG-Gesucht.de?

Your invoices are now available directly on WG-Gesucht.de. To access them, please log in to your account. In the “My bookings” user area, you will find a list of all your invoices, which you can download if required. Of course, we will continue to send you your invoices for the respective billing period by e-mail. If you need support or have any questions about your invoices, please contact our customer service team at kontakt@wg-gesucht.de. To enable us to process your request quickly, please provide your invoice number, customer number or the e-mail address with which you are registered.

Can I save a different billing address?

Yes, you can save a different billing address as well as a different email address for receiving invoices. To do this, please open Profile Data in your profile. Tick the checkbox " Different billing address" and enter the desired billing address and/or the email address for receiving the invoice. Save the data by clicking the "Save changes" button.

How can I have my invoice changed retrospectively?

If there has been a typing error in the billing address, for example, please send us an email at sales@wg-gesucht.de. Our Customer Care team will be happy to help you. Please let us know the invoice number, the customer number and/or the registered email address.
