I’m renting out my room because I’m traveling during the semester break. It’s also possible to rent it for just part of the time period, and I’m a bit flexible with the start and end date. The whole flat is not huge, but you can sit and chill also in the kitchen.
Ich vermiete mein großes, helles Zimmer, weil ich in den Semesterferien verreist bin. Es ist auch möglich nur einen Teil des Zeitraums zu mieten, falls es dir besser passt. :) Die Wohnung ist nicht riesig, aber man kann auch gut in der Küche sitzen.
The flat is in a lively neighborhood with supermarkets, kebab places, Spätis, and bars all within close reach. U-Pankstraße is just a 5-minute walk away, U-Osloer around 8 minutes, and S-Gesundbrunnen about 10–15 minutes, so it's very well connected.
Die Wohnung liegt an der Badstraße, also ziemlich busy, und du findest eigentlich alles was du brauchst in Laufdistanz (Späti, Supermarkt, Döner, Apotheke,...). Die U-Bahn-Station Pankstraße ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, U-Osloer ca. 8 Minuten und S-Gesundbrunnen ca. 10–15 Minuten, also wirklich top angebunden :)
All of us have been living in the flat for between 2 and 7 years. It’s a very friendly, family-style WG, not just a Zweck-WG, though for short-term stays, things are naturally a bit different. We’ve had similar situations before, where friends stayed for a month for an internship or something, so we are quite used to this :) We’re all outgoing and often out and about, but one roommate works full-time and frequently from home. Of course, you can have friends over, but it’s not a party WG.
Wir wohnen hier alle schon seit 2 bis 7 Jahren. Die WG ist sehr familiär und keine Zweck-WG. Für kurze Zeiträume ist es natürlich ein bisschen anders, aber das hatten wir schon oft – Bekannte von uns haben hier z. B. mal für ein Praktikum einen Monat gewohnt, also alles entspannt :) Wir sind alle recht aktiv und viel unterwegs, aber eine Mitbewohner*in arbeitet Vollzeit und oft im Homeoffice. Du kannst natürlich Freund*innen einladen, aber es ist keine Party-WG.
You should just be your usual tidy and respectful self :) We have a cleaning schedule, so while I’m away, you’ll take my spot.
Du solltest natürlich ordentlich und respektvoll sein :) Wir haben einen Putzplan, und während ich weg bin, übernimmst du meinen Platz.
