Zu deinem Zimmer: Es ist ein 14 m2 großes Zimmer, mit zwei schönen Fenstern, die viel Licht hereinlässt (im Sommer kann man von dort aus ein Sonnenbad nehmen!). Das Zimmer ist komplett möbliert zu mieten (außer der Matratze), dafür steht einen kleine Betrag, die die Möbel im Zimmer + gemeinsame Küchenausstattung beinhaltet. Die genaue Summe wird mit unserem ehemaligen Mitbewohner noch festgelegt.

** Ideal wäre, wenn du mindestens 1 Jahr bleiben würdest und du dich vorstellen könntest, irgendwann die Hauptmiete der Wohnung zu übernehmen ** (!!!)

About your room: It is a 14 m2 room, with 2 nice windows that let in a lot of light (you can def sunbath from here during summer). The room is completely furnished (except for the mattress). There's a small one-time fee that includes the furniture in the room + shared kitchen stuff. The exact amount is tbd with our former flatmate.

** It would be great if you are planning to stay for at least 1 year and could be able to become the main tenant at some point ** (!!!)

Zwischen Munstermannskamp, Scharnhorst Straße und Blücher Straße ist die Wohnung sehr gut an Bushaltestelle angebunden. In die Innenstadt sind es mit dem Fahrrad 10 Minuten, zur Illemenau mit dem Fahrrad 4. Die nächsten Läden sind die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten südlich vom Campus.

Between Munstermannskamp, Scharnhorst Straße and Blücher Straße. The apartment is very well connected to bus stops. It takes 10 minutes to get to the city center by bike, and 4 min. to the Illemenau. The nearest stores are the shopping facilities south of the campus.

Wir sind Maite (Sie; 28) und Jess (Sie; 28).

Jess hat vor kurzem ihr (ZWEITES!!) Studium begonnen. Sie ist voller Neugierde, immer offen für nette Gespräche und den Austausch von kulturellen Erfahrungen. Dass sie eine großartige Köchin ist, merkt man schon am Geruch ihrer Gerichte.

Maite ist politisch sehr aktiv. Sie trifft sich oft mit Freunden und nimmt an Demonstrationen teil. Außerdem steht sie kurz vor dem Abschluss ihrer Thesis (YAY!!!) und arbeitet in Teilzeit als Barista. Neugierig, einen Podcast zu hören? Sie hat bestimmt eine schöne (oder mehrere) Empfehlung(en)!

Unsere gemütliche WG liegt direkt am Campus, was nicht nur praktisch ist, um pünktlich zur Uni zu kommen, sondern auch, um schnell in der Mensa zu essen, wenn man keine Lust zum Kochen hat. Ab und zu frühstücken oder essen wir gemeinsam zu Abend, obwohl wir es sehr schätzen, auch mal Zeit für uns zu haben.
In der Küche hat jeder sein eigenes Zeug, aber wir teilen uns auch ein paar Basics + Putzzeug.
Was die Reinigung angeht, so achten wir alle darauf, die Wohnung täglich sauber zu halten. Außerdem haben wir einen Putzplan, um *tief* zu putzen (vor allem das Bad).
Wir freuen uns besonders über Anfragen von Menschen, die jegliche Diskriminierung ablehnen und in einer ruhigen und freundlichen Atmosphäre leben möchten.

We are Maite (she/her; 28) and Jess (she/her; 28).

Jess has recently started her (SECOND!!) degree. She's full of curiosity, always open for nice conversations, and exchanging cultural experiences. You can tell she's a great cook just by the smell of her dishes.

Maite is very politically active. She often hangs out with friends and takes part in demonstrations. She's also about to finish her thesis (YAY!!!) and works part time as a barista. Curious about listening to a podcast? Bet she has a nice (or various) recommendation(s)!

Our cozy shared flat is right next to the campus, which is not only convenient to get to the university on time, but also to quickly grab lunch at the Mensa if you don't feel like cooking. Every now and then we have breakfast or dinner together although we greatly appreciate having some me time.
In the kitchen, we each have our own stuff, but we also share a few basics + cleaning stuff.
As for cleaning, we all make sure to keep the apartment clean on a daily basis. Additionally we have a cleaning schedule to *deep* clean (mainly the bathroom).
We are especially happy to receive requests from people who reject any discrimination, and who would like to live in a calm and friendly athmosphere.
