El apartamento está situado en Gievenbeck, que está un poco fuera de la ciudad, pero se puede llegar al centro de la ciudad en aproximadamente 15 a 20 minutos en bicicleta, dependiendo de su velocidad. ;) El autobús tarda unos 20 a 25 minutos en llegar al centro de la ciudad o a la estación de tren y se detiene a solo tres minutos de nuestro apartamento.

Los supermercados más cercanos, Lidl y Rewe, están a unos 5 a 10 minutos en bicicleta, y el centro de York también está muy cerca.

Die Wohnung liegt in Gievenbeck, also ein bisschen außerhalb, aber je nach Fahrtempo ist man in 15/20 min mit dem Fahrrad in der Stadt. Ansonst fährt auch alle 30 min die Busline 2 (3 min zu Fuß entfernt) eigentlich überall hin wo man hin muss (Innenstadt, Bahnhof). Der nächste Supermarkt (Lidl, Rewe) ist auch so 5-10 min mit dem Fahrrad entfernt, das selbe gilt auch für das Yorkcenter.

The flat is located in Gievenbeck, which is a bit outside the city, but you can reach the city center in about 15 to 20 minutes by bike, depending on your speed. ;) The bus takes about 20 to 25 minutes to the city center or the train station and stops just three minutes from our apartment.

The nearest supermarkets, Lidl and Rewe, are about 5 to 10 minutes away by bike, and the York Center is also quite close.

Hola, mi nombre es Luca, y estoy buscando un nuevo compañero de piso, ya que mi actual está volviendo a su país de origen (era una estudiante Erasmus). Me encanta conocer gente nueva y me encantaría compartir mi apartamento con otro estudiante Erasmus de nuevo. La mayoría de mis compañeros de piso han sido estudiantes Erasmus, y he hecho grandes amigos a través de ella. :)

Un poco sobre mí mismo:
Actualmente estoy estudiando Niederlande-Deutschland-Studien, que es básicamente relaciones holandesas-alemanas, cubriendo temas como política, historia, medios, economía y lenguaje. Como parte de mis estudios, haré una pasantía de marzo a junio, seguida de un semestre Erasmus de septiembre a febrero del próximo año.
Es por eso que estoy idealmente buscando un compañero de piso que planea quedarse en Alemania durante un año completo – Me encantaría conocer a mi compañero de piso antes de salir para mi semestre Erasmus.

Nota importante: El propietario aumentará el alquiler a partir de septiembre. Hablaré con él sobre la cantidad exacta y actualizaré el listado tan pronto como sepa más.

Algunas cosas sobre mí fuera de mis estudios:
Me encanta la música y realmente disfrutar de la cocina (vegetariano). ¡Siempre estoy abierto a nuevas recetas y recomendaciones de música! Sólo un encabezamiento: a veces me gusta tocar mi música fuerte (no todo el tiempo, por supuesto, pero debe ser consciente de que lo escuchará ahora y después). También soy bastante hablador, así que prepárate para eso también haha :)

Cómo imagino vivir juntos:
Me encantaría tener noches de juego o cocinar juntos— No quiero que vivamos como completos extraños, ya que esto no es sólo un Zweck-WG. Supongo que como estudiante internacional, también te gustaría conocer gente nueva y explorar la ciudad, así que sería genial hacer algunas cosas juntos.
También tengo un plan de limpieza, pero ya que solo somos los dos, mantener el apartamento ordenado es bastante fácil de manejar. Es muy importante para mí que seas de mente abierta, ya que tengo un grupo de amigos diverso y queer, y quiero que todos se sientan cómodos en nuestra casa :)

Ich bin Luca, bin 22, studiere Niederlande-Deutschland-Studien und liebe Kochen und Musik. Dementsprechend viele Gewürze und Zutaten für alles mögliche findet man auch in der Küche. También cae du auch gerne kochst oder backst bist du hier genau richtig. Ich hör allerdings auch gerne mal lauter Musik, aber jetzt auch nicht 24/7. Am Wochenende bin ich meistens arbeiten oder auf Konzerten. Und ich rede sehr viel, das sollte dich nicht stören sonst wir das einbisschen schwierig haha. Ich denke das man mit mir als Mitbewohner eine gut Mischung aus WG leben und seiner Ruhe hat.

Hello, my name is Luca, and I am looking for a new flatmate as my current one is moving back to her home country (she was an Erasmus student). I love meeting new people and would love to share my flat with another Erasmus student again. Most of my flatmates have been Erasmus students, and I’ve made great friends through it. :)

A little bit about myself:
I am currently studying Niederlande-Deutschland-Studien, which is basically Dutch-German relations, covering topics like politics, history, media, economy, and language. As part of my studies, I will be doing an internship from March to June, followed by an Erasmus semester from September to February next year.
That’s why I’m ideally looking for a flatmate who plans to stay in Germany for a full year—I’d love to get to know my flatmate before leaving for my Erasmus semester.

Important note: The landlord will increase the rent starting in September. I’ll talk to him about the exact amount and update the listing as soon as I know more.

A few things about me outside of my studies:
I love music and really enjoy cooking (vegetarian). I’m always open to new recipes and music recommendations! Just a heads-up: I sometimes like to play my music loud (not all the time, of course, but you should be aware that you’ll hear it now and then). Also I’m quite talkative, so just be prepared for that too haha :)

How I imagine living together:
I’d love to have game nights or cook together—I don’t want us to live as total strangers, as this is not just a Zweck-WG. I assume that as an international student, you’d also like to meet new people and explore the city, so it would be great to do some things together.
I also have a cleaning plan, but since it’s just the two of us, keeping the apartment tidy is pretty easy to manage. It’s really important to me that you’re open-minded, as I have a diverse and queer friend group, and I want everyone to feel comfortable in our home :)
