The room is in a a building hosting mostly students and young people. It is partly furnished, including a bed (90cm), desk, small shelf and wardrobe. The view is towards a mini green area. You would share the kitchen and two small bathrooms with four flatmates, all studying at the UvA. Two important factors two consider are that while the room gets a decent, amount of sunlight, the shared areas have no sunlight accessing. Unfortunately, for the short-term rent, no registration will be possible.
The life in the shared space is mostly independent of each other, however everyone is supportive and occasionally up for going for a walk, cooking, or debriefing the day.
Supermarkets and access to bus and tram are within 5 minutes walking. By bike, the city center is within 20-25 minutes reach. The area is a quiet residential area, with several larger modern buildings like the World Fashion Centre. The lake Sloterplas is 5 minutes biking and the Sloterpark 11 minutes biking.
