Hello!
I am looking for a new flatmate for a cozy 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Kreuzberg!
The location is super nice - just 2 blocks south of U Kottbusser Tor. There are plenty of cool bars, restaurants, bookstores, shops, USC studios, galleries and parks right around the corner. The area is always lively, but the apartment itself is very calm and cozy. The 72 m2 ground-floor apartment consists of one more bedroom (mine), a hallway with some storage space, a bathroom, and a kitchen.
The available room is 15 m2 and faces the inner courtyard, making it super quiet and calm. The only downside is that there isn´t much natural light coming into the room, but the rest of the apartment is very bright, which makes up for it.
The room will be rented partially furnished - currently, there is a large mattress (140 x 200 cm) on a low bed frame, an IKEA clothing rack, a small IKEA shelf , one chair, and a nightstand/stool. If needed, some of the furniture can be stored in our cellar.
The shared kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove with oven, fridge, and all necessary dishes and appliances.
The bathroom features a bathtub and a washing machine.

You are only a few minutes away from several public transport lines (M29, 140, 147, U1, U3, U8).
Lidl, Rewe, and Rossmann are all within a 5 minute walking distance, and nearby you´ll also find Aldi, dm, Netto and a few Turkish (super)markets.
There are endless options for foods, drinks, and hangouts all around!
You would be sharing the flat with me, a 29-year-old architect. Ideally, I would like to share my home with an employed person who has a good balance of spending time both outside and inside - after all, we all need some alone time sometimes :).
Since my schedule is pretty busy, I spend most of my days outside, with a home office once a week. For this reason, I really value the calm and safe space we have at home, as well as quiet hours during the night. While I enjoy having people over and occasional weekend evening gatherings, please keep in mind that this is definitely not a regular party flat. I also don´t mind occasional visitors and sleepovers, as long as there´s prior notice and agreement.
Keeping things clean and tidy is important to me, especially when it comes to our everyday life and shared spaces, always being mindful of the other person.
I´d love to find someone who shares the same values regarding communication, respect, trust, empathy, etc. It´s important to me that we get along and understand each other´s need for alone time and independence, but spending time together from time to time - whether it´s chatting over a glass of wine, cooking together while sharing Spotify playlists, or even going to a museum or club - is definitely a plus.
Ultimately, whatever works as long as everyone is comfortable, respects boundaries, and is attuned to each other’s vibe.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, but pet visits and sitting are very welcome!
No smoking in the apartment, but we are just three steps away from enjoying a cigarette in the fresh air. :)

- The monthly rent is 620 Euro, all inclusive, and is due at the beginning of each month.
