This spacious (25 sqm) room comes with wood panelled floors, a private, street-facing balcony and is fully furnished, with a king-sized bed, a dining table, a home-office friendly workstation with a corner desk and ergonomic chair, as well as a reading corner with two comfortable armchairs. You'll also have a wardrobe and plenty of extra storage place since our apartment comes with a large private cellar in the basement of the building.
The private room is the largest of three in a shared apartment, which also has a fully equipped kitchen and a sizeable bathroom. Available for one month (20.02-21.03), the total warm rent is 640 euros (which includes rent, water, heating, electricity, internet and everything else, no extra payments on your end)
The apartment is located just off the Kurfürstendamm in Charlottenburg and is right next to the Ringbahn station S-Halensee, with S-Charlottenburg and U-Adenauerplatz in close proximity. This means you'll have excellent public transport connections, the whole of Berlin being accessible within 30 mins by train. You're also a mere 20 mins by bus from Zoologischer Garten, the heart of West Berlin, with the Grunewald Forest and Teufelsberg close by, within a 15 min walk from the building. The location is also great for people working in Potsdam, about 35 mins away by train.
You'll find a number of supermarkets, restaurants and boutiques in this beautiful, quiet neighbourhood. You'll also find the Kurfürstendamm, Berlin's premiere shopping street, as well as the gorgeous Lietzensee Park within the vicinity.
The flat has a fully equipped kitchen (Microwave, Dishwasher, Oven, Fridge et al) and a bathroom with a shower and tub.
You'll be sharing the apartment with my flatmates Jan and Aziz, both pursuing their university studies and incredibly friendly and cheerful people, always down for a drink on the balcony or a football match. The room is suitable for both individuals and couples.
We each clean the apartment once a week (taking turns) so you'll be responsible for keeping the room clean as well as share in the cleaning schedule. Since this is a quiet neighbourhood, you will have to be careful about playing loud music after 8pm (headphones: no issues).
