The room is part of a large 2-room apartment with a spacious kitchen and a bathrom with a shower and a bathtub ✨
The room is fully furnished with all the furniture on the picture. It has a bed and a sofa, and the sofa can be used also as a sleeping sofa for guests. There's also a small balcony - last winter we started using it in February already! 🌷
The most beautiful thing is that there is lots of sun in the room. It's facing south-east, so there's sun in the morning hours until 2pm - in Berlin's dark winter times an absolute asset, trust me! ☀️
We have a bike storage in the house and a patio where I usually leave my bike. Happy to leave my bike up for use as well 🚲
The room is available from January to March or April. We can discuss that and agree together.
The rent includes all costs.
Our apartment is in a calm area of Friedrichshain close to Weberwiese park. In about 20min, you can reach Volkspark Friedrichshain on a walk through pretty streets.
Just crossing Warschauer Str you reach the vibrant heart of Friedrichshain with original bars, plenty of good restaurants, lively flea market on Boxhagener Platz on Sundays.
U Frankfurter Tor (U5, M10, 21), U Weberwiese (U5) are within a 5 minutes walk and S+U Warschauer Str. (U3, U1, S) in 12 minutes walking distance.
By bike, Kreuzberg and Neukölln are easy to reach and public transport connects you super well to the rest of the city, including direct connections to Hbf and to the airport.
There's the East Side Mall close by, as well as an Aldi, Edeka, Bio Company and Rossmann.
We are Nick and Céline, two friends who know each other since a couple of years and became flatmates last year when Nick moved to Berlin.
Nick is an architect and Céline protects the environment & nature. We look for someone to subrent Céline's room while she'll be working abroad for a couple of months.
Nick mostly works at home, listens to podcasts or polit-talk-shows in the lunch break. He is enjoys music and he creates a great cooking atmosphere when his good-mood-playlist is on. With a glass of wine, this makes for a cozy WG kitchen hangout.
Comedy show, bar tour, urban sports, going for a walk or groceries together - Nick likes company and is keen to explore more of Berlin's cultural life. To recharge is social batteries, he needs some me-time too.
Do you want to join him for a couple of months? We're looking forward to getting to know you!
