Hello! My name is Simone, i will be traveling in Asia during the first 2 months of the new year, and i’m looking for someone to take over my room during that time.
The flat finds place in a relatively new building, of which the modern window frames provide good insulation and keep it warm during winter (something not to take for granted in Berlin, especially in the many old buildings of the city). The room is furnished with everything you need (bed, closet, bookshelf, desk, chair) and since i’m renting it just for a short perdiod of time, it cannot be changed/customised. For the same reason, anmeldung is not possible.
I will leave some of my stuff in the room but you will have enough space to store yours - if you bring with you an entire warehouse of items, we’ll figure something else out.
The apartment is located in Kreuzberg 10969, a super central and - contrary to what might be expected - quiet area (residential area slightly hidden from the busy streets). So no traffic or general loudness right below your bedroom window, at any time.
It is situated halfway between 3 different Ubahn stations: Hallesches Tor (U1, U3, U6), Prinzenstraße (U1, U3) and Moritzplatz (U8), all of them at the same walking distance - around 10 minutes - which makes it super well connected too.
The closest supermarket (Edeka) is less than a 5 minute walk away.
You will live with 2 super nice girls - Anna, 21, and Margherita, 24, both students, both busy with uni but very pleasant to live with.
The flat offers a lot of additional space besides your room: big kitchen, huge living room, balcony (and of course one bathroom, with bathtub). So don’t worry, you’ll not be forced into the bedroom all the time.
If you’re interested - preferably for the entire period, end date is flexible - just hit me up here telling me a bit about yourself, i will try to answer everyone asap. You will be welcome to come over for a visit in person :)
