Hello and thanks for clicking on my post. My name is Cole and I have found a great opportunity to found a new WG in the heart of Berlin from March 1 and am searching for someone to take on the largest room (about 30 square meters).
The room has one large built-in shelf and built-in closets that will be rented by the owners and cannot be removed. In the photos from the realtor, you can see this room has been used as a dining room/bedroom in the past.
The apartment is located close to Paul-Lincke Ufer and Görlitzer Bahnhof. It is 10 minutes walking from Kottbusser Tor.
My name is Cole (he him, 26) and I am currently moving from Bonn to Berlin for a university job. I am originally from the US, but have been around Germany for some years now after doing some studies in Bremen. I’m interested in films, music, and art, and I’m also a gardener/indoor plant enthusiast. In general, I’m a communicative, creative, and laid-back person—always up for a coffee in the morning or a beer or glass of wine in the evening. I also love cooking together. Having a queer-friendly and inclusive home is really important to me. My German is good for everyday life, but sometimes it is exhausting and I need a break—I'm much more confident in English and Spanish.
There will be one other flatmate (TBD) for the third, smaller bedroom
It is important that this is not a Zweck-WG.
Tell me your ideal breakfast if you read this far!
To be transparent: there is much yet to be determined, as no rentor's agreement has been made yet. I'm looking for flatmates that are excited about the adventure of a WG Neugründung :-p
