Super bright and massive room with 4 skylights and 2 small windows. Top floor apartment (with elevator), has 3 other rooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and an outdoor garden area. The whole place is really bright and spacious. I have a lot of plants I will be leaving behind so someone with a green thumb, who will keep my babes alive, are preferred. No smokers or pets.
The room is available from August 16th - Sept 5th (***Unfortunately Registration is not possible***). Please only reach out if you can commit to the full period :)
The location is truly excellent. You'll be close to two beautiful parks, Viktoriapark and Park Gleisdreieck (<5 min walking distance). This flat is in a very wonderful part of Bergmannkiez with many delicious restaurants and cute stores just up Bergmannstraße. Tempelhoferfeld is about 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes by bike away. Rewe, Edeka, Aldi, LIDL (our personal favorite), and and bio store are all near.
The U7, U6, S2, S1, M19, 104, and 248 are all walking distance away.
We have 4 rooms - I've been living with Sebids and Malte for over a year now and everyone gets along, but we mostly do our own thing. Simone moved in to our spare bedroom after subletting my room earlier this year.
Matet works in environmental economics/urban planning and loves to cook, make board games, read, and tend to the garden. He's super friendly and works from home (since the lockdown). Sebids is really into philosophy and investment. He likes to run, read, and spends a lot of time at his studio nearby. Sometimes we'll catch each other in the kitchen and sit for a chat but at the moment we all seem to run on different schedules. Simone is Italian, super friendly and always in good spirits.
I would say that your roommates are very creative, curious people who enjoy hanging out with a book at home as well as having people over for dinners/parties. We often discuss topics like sociology, art, investment, critical theory, science, etc., when we're hanging out in the kitchen.
Since it's the summer you may not get the full experience of any of them as everyone seems to be out on vacation or wandering around in the sun.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
