I am leaving this WG. The room is big and bright. It's 20qm with 2 windows, and equipped with oak wood floorings and furnitures. You'll get a sofa, a big cupboard, a 140-cm bed with frame, a work desk, a chair (the red one in the photo), 2 window blinds, and a long coffee table. The room has high ceilings with ornaments. The room will be available in October.
The flat was newly renovated in 2020. The bathroom is really spacious so you will have plenty of space to hang your laundry, and equipped with a washing machine and a drier. The kitchen is equipped a glass stove, oven, microwave, plenty of cabinets, 3 refrigerators, and a dining table with 3 chairs (each tenant got their own refrigerator). All equipments were newly bought after the renovation. There is also an inner yard where you can park your bike safely.
The connection in this area is great. Right in front of the building there is a bus stop for Bus 365. You can walk across the bridge on the north to the bus stop for Bus 165 and 265. Trams are within 5-min of walking distance. S-bahn 10 minutes. You can reach this place via S Schöneweide (the closest), S Baumschulenweg, or S Karlshorst.
There are also plenty shops and supermarkets nearby. Penny, LIDL, EDEKA, REWE, ALDI, Kaufland, Rossmann, Decathlon, and Mediamarkt are all within walking distance. It's also very close to the Spree river where you can sit and chill on the riverside.
This flat is also in close proximity to HTW, therefore it would be perfect for students. But in case you are studying/working in Adlershof (like me), the location would be perfect too.
I do not speak German fluently, but no worries, my 2 flatmates who will live together with you speak German. Alex is studying in HTW, she speaks German, English, and French fluently. Lukas is also studying in HTW and he speaks German and English fluently. They are quiet and friendly people, sometimes they like to cook and eat together, and they will definitely respect your privacy. There are many kitchen utensils that you can use together.
My flatmates (Alex and Lukas) are currently on vacation so they are not here. In case you would like to come by to see the apartment yourself, I'd be available. And we can arrange a time together to have a video call your future flatmates. *)
The landlord is living in Wiesbaden and reachable by e-mail and phone. If you decide to take the apartment, he would require you to send him these documents:
- Mietschuldenfreiheitsbescheinigung (if you previously lived in a rented property)
- Bürgschaft (if you do not have an income)
- Copy of ID card
- SCUFA
- Pay slip (or a proof that you are a student)
Looking forward to hearing from you. Feel free to contact me for questions and/or viewing appointments.
*) I might reply slow because I need to make an appointment with my flatmates first. Don’t worry, I’m reading all of your messages :)
