I am offering room(s) for two people in my spacious 3 room flat in Prenzlauer Berg. Rent and costs are per person. I am German but writing in English so that everybody gets a chance to read the offer alright.
Due to work I am in Berlin only irregularly so you would have the place to yourself most of the time and the weekends. The flat is currently set up with a bedroom (ca. 24m²), a living room (ca. 24m²) and a small guest room (ca. 9m²), so ideal for a couple that would like to share the flat while I am in Berlin. Otherwise the living room would have to be turned to a bedroom, at least when I am also there.
The flat itself is renovated Altbau with a spacious central living area when you come in. This is also where the kitchen is. From the central room you get to the two big rooms (currently living room and bedroom) that face a quiet street and park and that both have access to the balcony. The smaller room is on the other end of the flat, also accessed from the kitchen/living area. The bathroom is opposite the bedroom.
The flat is fully furnished and equipped, including kitchen, washing machine and dish washer, wifi etc. The sofa and living room are both equipped with sleeping sofas. The rent would be limited for six months for now. I would be interested in extending this if possible. I think it is best to sort out all further details directly.
The flat is located directly next to Mauerpark in a quiet side street. The main traffic goes down the parallel street so this one is used mainly for parking or pedestrians.
Both S/U Schönhauser Allee with the Ringbahn and U Eberswalder Straße are a few minutes away. Tram M1 is even closer. There is a small city Rewe nearby and Schönhauser Allee Arcaden has bigger shops. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars all around in the neighbouring streets.
I am not in Berlin full-time any more at the moment. I am working partly remote and partly in Berlin and am going to the office in Berlin about every two weeks. So I would only be an occasional flat mate. I will mostly be in the office when I am in Berlin so I would mainly be in the flat in some evenings and the occasional weekend. However, I have plenty of experience with living in shared flats in Berlin, Germany and abroad since my university days and am happy to share the flat again with some nice, friendly and somewhat tidy people.
I like to travel and enjoy the outdoors and would be interested to hear a little bit about yourself. I would consider myself as rather easy going and am very much looking forward to an uncomplicated, friendly atmosphere in the flat. Working people or students are equally welcome of course and it is a great place to invite friends to as well. It would just be important for me that it is not a party place - there are plenty of opportunities for that in Berlin.
The flat was originally a shared flat with two bedrooms. After my flatmate moved out I have been living in it with my girlfriend until recently so that it now has a living room instead of a second big bedroom. The way the flat is set up now would be ideal for a couple that would stay in the bedroom and I would stay in the small room when I am there. Of course, it would also work for two separate people or friends to use two separate rooms as bedrooms.
I think it would be easiest to sort out the details in a personal call or meeting. Looking forward to hearing from you!
