The flat consists of a kitchen (almost everything is there, except a dishwasher), a large bathroom with a bathtub, a storage room, and two bedrooms. The bedroom I am renting is already furnished and has a private balcony, accessible only by the person renting the room. The flat is old, and there are some rules that must be followed to avoid problems with the elderly lady who lives downstairs.
All costs are included in the rent, but if there is excess in the Nebenkosten, we will have to split the bill between the two tenants.
IMPORTANT!!! I apologize, but please note that this is an "Altbau" (old building), and while parties or gatherings are not strictly prohibited, it's essential to respect Berlin's quiet hours, which are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM during the day. The elderly lady living downstairs is sensitive to noise and frequently complains. If you're looking for a student flat or a place for loud parties, this might not be the best fit. The flat is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Volkspark Rehberge and the U6 Rehberge U-Bahn station. On Müllerstraße, you can find almost everything you need. There are several supermarkets close to each other (Kaufland, EDEKA, Aldi, Lidl) and hundreds of shops where you can buy anything.
The area is very quiet, multicultural, and mostly family-oriented.
I am looking for a responsible, clean, and reliable individual (aged 27 or older) to join my small but cozy shared apartment. I work full-time and prefer someone with a similarly structured daily routine (employed, not exclusively working from home).
What is really important to me:
We share cleaning duties weekly, however, a general understanding of cleanliness (e.g., taking out the trash when it's full, cleaning the cooking area after use, etc.) should be present beyond the scheduled tasks.
As the rooms are close to each other, I desire someone with a regular sleep and eating schedule (e.g., no late-night cooking). Quiet hours and mutual consideration should be a given (10 PM–6 AM). No after-hours gatherings or parties in the apartment.
Smoking is permitted on the balcony.
