WG-Leben
The free room is on the 2nd floor of our sunny little four-story house and your bathroom is on the same floor. Our little house has a car-free garage with plenty of space for bikes and tools. The first floor is a big living room with a nice kitchen, dining and living area, where the peeps chillax. There is a balcony and the garage roof is also accessible from the living room (nice for BBQs!). There is also a small garden with a terrace, so you can always enjoy the sun somewhere. Julian and Ina have a bedroom with another bathroom on the third floor. Ben lives in the room next to the free room. Josh lives on the ground floor where there is another toilet, a common room for laundry and a storage room and access to the garden. The house is pretty fancy with conveniences such as underfloor heating and an induction stove.
Weißensee is great! We were all a bit skeptical before we moved here, but Weißensee is super nice. It's much more quiet and greener than Prenzlauer Berg. Less cars, less noise and a lake to swim in!
Also, by bike you're just 5-10 minutes from Prenzlauer Allee or Greifswalder Straße Ringbahn station andthen quickly everywhere. Just outside the door are the Trams M13 and the 12 and 5 minutes away are Prenzlauer Allee / Ostseestr. and Antonplatz, from where the M2 and M4 go to Alexanderplatz. There are more and more small, nice cafes and restaurants with friendly owners you actually get to know and our neighbors are very nice!
We love living together. We are really looking forward to summer, open airs, and playing games in the park. We like to go to techno clubs, and have friends over for prosecco brunch or board games. Julian has recently fiiiinally completed his PhD in biology and works for a start up. He is a techno fiend and likes building stuff. Ina fled from medical research to study again (psychology) and is now into radical honesty, dancing and other hippie shit. Josh is from New Zealand, he studied computer science and is currently looking for a programming job in Berlin. He is into synthesizers, tea, poetry, potatoes, and he is a great dancer. Ben is from Wales, works in the travel industry, enjoys playing piano, and playing sports.
We are looking for a flatmate who is open-minded, communicates honestly and would like to become part of our WG!
