My name is Freya, I am a 31 year old from New Zealand but have lived in Berlin for the last 4 months. Living in Germany has been a 10-year long dream and I am very happy it's finally happened :)

My work career spans multiple jobs including lawyer, writer and conservation ranger. Just before moving to Germany, I lived by myself on an island in New Zealand looking after the birds and wildlife. Life in Berlin is definitely different to living on an isolated island but I love it.

I now work for a Human Rights NGO and in my spare time I enjoy writing, ice swimming, playing backgammon, vintage shopping and going to my run club. I love to cook (mostly vegetarian), visit markets for seasonal vegetables, do yoga, explore new cafes, go hiking and travel (like everyone else ha).

I am a very tidy, respectful and clean flatmate. I am easy-going and I am happy to have flatmates with different lifestyles and interests as long as they are considerate. I like my own time, I am very independent but I also love chatting and hanging with flatmates.
