Hello! We’re Chris and Rodrigo, and we’re looking for a new roommate to join us in creating a new shared flat (WG Neugründung) in Prenzlauer Berg. We’ve been together for eight years and have lived in WGs before, so we know how to build a home that’s comfortable, social, and easy to live in.
The apartment is 120 m², located on the 5th floor (no elevator), with a big, bright living kitchen area—a great space for cooking, hanging out, or having friends over. Your room is 18 m², fully furnished, and faces the quiet backyard, making it a peaceful place to unwind. The flat has two toilets, so even though the bathrooms are shared, there’s enough space for everyone to have a smooth daily routine. There’s also a terrace attached to the living room, which we love using for BBQs and relaxing outside.
The current pictures are from the owner, and while some basic furniture can stay, you’re free to decide what works best for your room. Since this is a newly formed WG, we want to shape the space together, adjusting the furniture and decoration to reflect both your style and ours—creating a home that feels comfortable and welcoming for all of us.
We’re in Christburger Straße, right in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, one of Berlin’s best neighborhoods. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars, and parks within walking distance, and the area is well-connected by public transport, making it easy to get around the city.
A bit about us: we both work in solar and fintech—one in marketing, the other in engineering—and sometimes work from home. We enjoy cooking together, going out, exploring new places, and having a good mix of social time and personal space. Our approach to shared living is simple: be considerate, keep the space functional, and enjoy living together without unnecessary stress.
We’re looking for someone between 30-40, working, and easygoing—someone who enjoys shared living in a relaxed, respectful, and social way.
