Hey there :)
while my partner Leticia leaves the country for two months, we would like to sublet one furnished room available in our apartment in Schillerkiez for a bit more than one month.
In fact there are two possible rooms, that you could pick one of. Both rooms (roughly 11qm) are furnished with a desk and a chair. One room has a small sleeping couch, the other one has a 160-200cm bed. Both rooms also a bit of storage space.
The flat itself is quite spacious: it has two bathrooms with shower and bathtub (respectively), one other bedroom, a small kitchen, and a large living room with a couch and several tables. The flat also has a sunny balcony (at least in theory, considering the time of the year!).
All windows of the flat are directed to the inner courtyard which points towards a side street, making the flat pretty quiet.
The flat is very well located: It's walking distance to the parks Hasenheide (2 min) and Tempelhofer Feld (7 min), as well as very close to the public transport U8 Boddinstrasse (4 min) or the bus M43 (2 min).
The area around the flat "Schillerkiez" is very lively and has many bars, restaurants, and small cinemas around. There are a couple of supermarkets and pharmacies also in walking distance, as well as a market on Saturdays.
You'll be sharing the flat with Nils. Nils is very easy going and, although often quite busy/active, generally open to hang out in the evening. He works on energy politics but has many other interests as well, like climbing, longboarding, and reading. You can get to know him better during a flatvisit.
