Important to know beforehand:
- It is not possible to register at the residents' registration office via our address.
Well, at 10m², your room is not the largest, but at least offers enough space for the most important furniture. Your room will be unfurnished when you move in, the photo is an old one anyway. All that's left is a ceiling lamp, curtain rod and the gray room carpet. The window of your room faces south and to the backyard. So the sun shines into your room at midday.
The walls are actually in a good condition But if your room needs to be painted in a different colour or redesigned in another way, you can tell us and we would help you with that!
Our apartment is generally designed in such a way that all four of our rooms are in the respective corners of the apartment. In between there is a large living room with a south-facing balcony, a kitchen and two bathrooms. The apartment still offers enough space to store stuff and to live.
We live near Bornholmerstrasse. The S-Bahn lines S1, S2, S25, S26 and S8/85 can be reached in 8 minutes on foot. The M13 and M50 with a 3 minutes walk. The Ringbahn and the U2 are also about 12 minutes away.
We have a pretty nice allotment garden on our doorstep that is perfect for walking or jogging. Parks, lakes and a small forest can be reached by bike in 20 minutes.
There are also plenty of shopping opportunities.
We are Ceniza, noah and Finn and we're already looking forward to having you as a new flatmate :)
noah and Finn live together in this flat for more than 6 years now, whereas Ceniza joined us a little bit more than two years ago. To give you a first impression about us we would like to introduce ourselves shortly:
Hi! Im Ceniza (she/they). Im a transfem girl from Chile. Most of my time is usually spent working or with my partner who comes over every other weekend. I use the common space sometimes to play music. Other than those times with my partner or playing music my time at home is usually spent cooking in a rush and recovering from my packed schedule.
Halloi, I Am noah, 26 years old and I use he/they pronouns (White positioned, trans* non-binary). I am working as a social worker preferably within queer structures and places and am considering to soon start a masters in critical diversity and community studies. Currently I am also giving more space to looking after my psyche and different steps of my transition and left- political involvedness. I am a lot into drumming and singing..
Huhu, I am Finn (he/him), and in the summer you're frequently going to find me with a book and a hot chocolate on the balcony. Currently, I've got a little job at a library, that I'm enjoying a lot. For more than a year I've been writing on my Bachelor Thesis but I'm very good at procrastination and like to bake a cake instead. Here and there I go to soccer training, to different libraries (searching for new comics), or visiting museums.
Relatively often we spend our time together in the living room or kitchen. When the sun is shining we're obviously chilling on the balcony as well.
We share a whole bunch of different activities and interests. We love eating together, learning languages, simply listening to each other, going on bike tours/ Critical Mass, sharing new music and dancing together. Pretty regularly we're also participating in demonstrations and left-wing political activism. Right now we are watching the series "Dance Academy".
To keep our flat tidy and hygienic we usually try to meet on saturdays to clean together. On a more or less regular basis we also meet for plenary meetings where we talk about our feelings/emotions and coordinate to-do's that concern everyone in the flat.
